TEDx Talks on ‘The effect of therapy with animals’ and ‘Embracing resilience and growth’

Wednesday 20 November 2024, the Open Universiteit is organising another TEDx event in Heerlen: TEDxOpenUniversiteitHeerlen. Karin Hediger, endowed professor of Anthrozoology at the Open Universiteit, and Saïda Assagraui MSc, health psychologist and ambassador Open Universiteit 2023, are two of the speakers.

Karin Hediger will give a TEDx Talk on ‘The effect of therapy with animals’: how the human-animal relationship can be used therapeutically and how we can learn from it to improve interpersonal relationships. And Saïda Assagraui will give her TEDx Talk on ‘Embracing resilience and growth’: how to achieve growth with courage and willpower to keep overcoming adversity.
