Mobach Keramiek - we work for many years with this family run business in Utrecht, the Netherlands and we never get tired from the beauty of their handmade objects. Their glazes are wonderful and turn every piece in a unique one, as every time it turns out slightly different. Sometimes inside the pots you can still see the traces of the fingers and hands that shaped them - so much craftsmanship in each piece!
For us always the fun part to think of plants and flowers to fill these beauties!
This spring we decided on Salix, Hyacinths, Helleborus, Cymbidiums, Rosmarinus and Asparagus. A mix of heirloom plants that added green life to the vessels but started a conversation with them - instead of taking all the attention - perfect fit - when flora and vessel become a strong unit and bring out the best in each other.

In these beautiful Mobach vessels only simple fillings are needed. We loved the airy and tall Quince branches in contrast to the sturdy vase; the beautiful color match - but texture contrast with the Protea and the vase and last - but not least - the smooth Hippeastrum stems with the white flowers matching the slickness of this hand throw beauty. Nothing better than to play around with great florals in these handcrafted pottery jewels!

Welcome in the garden of Eden! As you know Abhika loves Flora&Fauna as inspiration for our interior collection! We had a tiny holiday in Ueli’s Heimat Gonten.
Walked in the mountains with the dogs, had delicious home cooked meals by his mother, met some of his ( and now also my friends) and just enjoyed the winter for a few days.

In our home we always try to have fresh flowers and many plants around! They bring us joy and happiness - and that is also what we hope to do for you - bring happiness through our work to you.
Being thankful for finishing a great 2023, with many fun jobs, great new contacts, beautiful long term customers and a great team of colleagues and freelancers that help us to realize our ideas!

Our garden and indoor garden in 2023, The Wunderkammer Urban Farm. We really did find our own Paradise and as a friend of us said very nicely this summer, a paradise full of work.
For sure - our garden, plants and animals do require a lot of attention, but this is also what brings us joy and happiness. For 2024 we hope to have a few open weekends, te share our home with you.

A funky one for Bas from Flore, his wish - a tree made out of grass plumes - and so we did! Always fun to create custom made floral sculptures! This one we created with the team quite late one night, two people pushing in the grass feathers and one person cutting bits.

Baubles & Berries! Round red shapes - natural and man made - combine great for Christmas arrangements.
We attached the baubles to red Cornus twigs to make it even more pretty. Look carefully and you discover big Amaryllis buds inbetween the greens. That is the magic of Amaryllis, in the beginning hardly noticed and in a few days, opening their amazing flowers. Look at the other post to see them all open!

For the Studio Karl party we went all silver and white. Table arrangements were big piles of silver baubles, forming the base for beautiful white flowers to pop up. The whole table scape being lit up by candles. Delivering 48 tables, bringing more than 600 candles in - created a beautiful atmosphere.

Every year, Bibi and her team spend a lot of care and attention to their Christmas event, creating spaces to present Bibi’s jewelry collection in a mesmerizing setting. Making an entrance… For this summer evening Cartier invited their guests to celebrate the Flora&Fauna collection. Greeted by Cartier’s lovely grooms, the invitees walked up a staircase filled with the most beautiful Alliums. It is magical if you can work with a flower in big quantities- especially if you know they are in season and grown on fields a hour away from the party. The flower is actually a by product, as the bulbs are the main crop. We really did enjoy creating this immersive entrance- making people walk through a flower field. We are Ueli Signer and Florian Seyd and together with our team we are The Wunderkammer. Our work as florists and decorators is driven by our passion for nature. We see ourselves more as gallery owners and nature as our artist. We try to present her products; flora, minerals and fauna in a way that surprises all. We want to show the best of nature in everything we do.”
