As we all know, the busy wedding season has come to an end, which means we are busy behind the scenes planning the 2024 and even the 2025 weddings! If you were wondering, no we actually never sit still. 😅😂

The beautiful wedding of Rojda & Chris in Umbria, Italy 🍋✨🍷

This Italian wedding weekend started off with a romantic pizza night! With a glass of Prosecco in one hand and a slice of pizza in the other surrounded with your friends and family what else do you need to kick of your wedding weekend? 🤪🍕🍾

The next day it was time for the ceremony with the most beautiful view 😍 Followed by the aperitivo and dinner✨ We really loved this romantic and classic tablesetting. When you have a location like this you don’t need much more ❤️

So what’s next?? 🕺🤪

With a throwback to this beautiful moment of last years wedding, we are looking at how the season of 2023 is going🥰

We just came back from a true Italian wedding weekend dream at Lake Como!! Thank you so much Sophie & Owen for letting us be part of it ✨🫶🏻

Next up we will celebrate the love between M&K in our very own city: Amsterdam 💐🤍

Then onto Napoli for the wedding of M&L. And while we are in Italy we will have another Italian wedding dream of T&J at Monaciano!

The rest is a surprise for now 😉, but believe us when we say we have some more very good beautifully styled organised chaoses planned for this year🙌🏼

Amsterdam wedding✨🕺🥂

There is just something so special about an Amsterdam wedding! Going on a boat with all your guests (or almost getting hit by a bike on your special day 🤪) is something you won’t ever forget!

What we love about an Amsterdam wedding is to go to different places during the day! 🕺 For example having the welcome drink at your favorite cafe, a boat trip trough the canals of Amsterdam, with a pit stop at the Magere Brug for some Prosecco and Oysters 🦪🍾(Hi Chelsea & Matt 😉) Back to one of the many restaurants and wedding venues Amsterdam has to offer for a romantic dinner 🤍 Oh and don’t forget Amsterdam knows how to party, so you will definitely dance the night away 💃🏽

Amsterdam just has it all 🥰🫶🏻

Chelsea & Matt thank you so much for this amazing day 🙌🏼 It was one big party the whole day long!!

The silence before the storm…🕺💐✨🪩

There will always be moments on your wedding day where your are getting a little nervous (good nerves 🤪) Mostly this is before the ceremony. Everything is beautifully set up and the moment where you have been living up to for a while is finally here! And luckily... we are there to keep you calm before (and during) the storm 😏😂

Then when you see your partner at the ceremony or just before for the first look and all your loved ones waiting for you… all the nerves go away and it just feels right 🤍

And also tip from us…. Don’t forget to ENJOY🕺 This truly is a once in a lifetime experience (unless you have the best job ever 🫶🏻😉)

Exactly one year ago this beautiful couple said YES to each other 🤍

We can’t believe this beautiful day is already one year ago! 🫶🏻 With family and friends from all over the world and others coming with the bike to the city behind the dunes, this wedding was a perfect example of how two people can bring their worlds together ❤️

And with a hangover day at the beach the day after, we can say The Hague is perfect for a wedding weekend (not biased or anything 🤪🥰)

THE BIG WEIRD LOVE CELEBRATION 🕺🪩😎🤟🏼🌈✨🍾

Chelsea & Matt had one of the most unique weddings of all time. They split up their ceremony in different parts during the day😎💃🏽

It all started with a surprise entrance while their guests had a welcome drink at "de Rode Hoed". ✨

Then the next surprise: guiding everyone to a boat tour along the canals of Amsterdam. Popping champagne and eating oysters cheering with all their guests sailing under the Magere Brug 🍾🦪

After that it was time for a beautiful dinner at this historical monument in Amsterdam with beautiful vows to each other and speeches from their loved ones. 🫶🏻

The last part of the ceremony took place under the stars with all the guests holding sparklers and Chelsea & Matt giving each other the rings. Ending the night with dances and an afterparty at the Bloemenbar. They have included all of Amsterdam in their special day. Try to beat that! 🙌🏼🤪

Chelsea & Matt thank you so much for letting us be part of your big weird love celebration 🪩🕺🌈

We have showed you the most beautiful long tablesettings, but at this location these round tables were perfect to create a stunning dinner setting. With live music and the couple arriving from the stairs it felt like a movie scene 🥰

Have a beach day! It’s no surprise we love the after wedding brunch. This is always such a fun and special moment with your guests to recover from the day before together 🤪 And what’s better than to do it at the beach! ☀️

We loved organizing this delicious lunch with a beautiful view 😍 And after eating from the tasty brunch buffet, have a fresh dive in the sea, a little dance in the sun and some mimosas! We promise this will cure that hangover 😏

Because we would not be The Travelling Wedding Planner, if we could not help you with THE perfect honeymoon 🥰. Besides planning a wedding, this is our favourite thing to do: finding the most beautiful, most romantic, adventurous, amazing and original destinations for your honeymoon. 🤍

After quite some experience with living and travelling abroad, we can truly say that we know where to be for any kind of experience. If there is something we have not seen or done yet, you can be sure it’s on our list. Do you have a busy schedule or for any other reason have no time to plan your honeymoon, but would love to be fully taken care of after your wedding? Then this is perfect for you! 🫶🏻

Based on a meeting where you tell us about the type of honeymoon you would love, as well as the budget you have in mind, we will create an itinerary. If you wish, we will book the accommodation, flights, transportation, reservations and activities. If you dare to, you can even let us surprise you… 😏🕺

Sooo…. 6 weddings sign sealed delivered in just 6 weeks!! Between Saint Tropez, Rome, Florence & Umbria we can say we kicked off the 2023’s wedding season with a great start🫶🏻✨🍾🪩🙌🏼🍝🍕🍋

We feel like we are just living one big wedding planning dream. And when we say dream, we mean we need to pinch ourselves to realize we were actually there! 🤪

Within the little two weeks back in The Netherlands we have a team day planned with a surprise for the girls 😏 and further we are in full focus mode for the upcoming weddings 🕺🫶🏻

We can’t wait to keep this flow off an amazing wedding season going so all we can say is: Letsgooo!! 🙌🏼🕺

The after wedding hangover brunch…✨

The perfect time to relax, catch up and realize what all happened the passed few days 😂🤍

Oh how nice it is to talk about the day before, over some food and drinks with your friends and family. A hangover moment everybody will remember! Especially when you make it a poolparty 😏

At the end of your wedding day you will not be able to talk to every guest as you are hopefully to busy showing off your best dance moves 🕺 That’s where the after wedding brunch comes to the rescue… Here you can take the time to thank everybody for coming to your special weekend and hear about how they experienced it all before everyone goes home! And when you’re doubting to organize an after wedding brunch mimosa’s are always a good idea right?!😉

How do you find the perfect make up and hair artist for your wedding day? ✨

Maybe this is not the first thing you think of when planning your wedding, but don’t we all want to look and feel beautiful at our wedding? 🤷‍♀️ And it can be difficult to find the right person to do the job.

Not only do you want to feel beautiful and confident on your weddingday, you are also spending multiple hours with this person on your weddingday 😂 so it’s important you have a good connection with each other!

When you are starting to look for a MUA we recommend looking for inspiration pictures. In that way you know what you are looking for and can compare this with the work of different MUA’s. After that we always recommend doing a trial, so you know what to expect and know if you have a good connection with this person ❤️

We have worked with a lot of make up artists over the years, so we have enough recommendations for you 🫶🏻😏

Are you having trouble finding THE perfect wedding venue? But you are not interested in a complete wedding planning package (because you enjoy planning yourself or because the budget does not allow it), then this is might be the option for you! 🙌🏼

The wedding planning process always starts with finding your dream location. Especially with destination weddings, it can be difficult to find the perfect place. Fortunately, we have built up an enormous database with the most beautiful locations all over the world! 😏

That is why we can help you with this first step. In a meeting we will go through all your wishes and we will draw up criteria together. In addition, we make a joint mood board, and based on all this, we send you our recommendations for the most beautiful wedding locations. When you have made a selection, we will schedule an optional location visit for you and we will also provide tips and tricks for planning your wedding.

Our first wedding at Orangerie Elswout 🫶🏻✨

We can’t help but feel a little sentimental, because next year we will organize another wedding at this location 🥹 This feels so special to us, because when it was just Nina en Susanna at this wedding a few years ago we would have never thought we would stand here today with a Travelling Wedding Planner TEAM(!) and travelling to the most beautiful venues together 🤍

There are so many possibilities regarding styling and decoration that it sometimes becomes difficult to decide what you want (and agree with each other🤪).

One of our favorite things is to think along with you with while making these decisions! We create a vision board together with you (thank you Pinterest✌🏽) and brainstorm till we find something that feels just right for just the two of you! Good to know we also offer a styling and decoration option where we make sure every detail is set in stone together with a stylist! So we are here to help you out in everything you need 🕺

(We have happy tears in both situations and want to thank our couples for every wedding being unique and different, so we can experience all these possibilities 🫶🏻🤪)

Bridesmaids & groomsmen 💐🥂

This is something not every couple agrees on. Sometimes the bride wants a lot of bridesmaids and the groom does not care for having many groomsmen.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So what do you do in these situations?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You compromise 🤪 (no we are not going to give you relationship advice, just wedding advice). Find a solution that is in the middle and makes you both happy!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
For example you have them walking with you, but not standing next to you! Or if you find it cheesy, you spice it up with giving the groomsmen some beer and make them beerboys 🍻 😏 (been there done that!)

A little appreciation post for this special wedding in The Hague last year! 🤍

What we love about a wedding in The Hague (next to the fact that we can crash at Suus & Faya’s 🤪) is that there are so many possibilities! Imagine having your wedding in the city and after going to the beach for your party 🕺 It’s all possible in the city behind the dunes! So anyone thinking about getting married in The Hague? Oh Borgo Stommenano… we are in love 💌

This location is absolutely one of favorite wedding venues where we are lucky enough to be able to create and celebrate some very very good organised chaos (thank you very much Vaenice & Etienne 😉) The romance, the nature, the history, the pool not to forget (espically Suus, who occasionally jumps in with the wedding couple haha)… Borgo Stommenano just has it all 💚🧡💜

It’s unreal how many stunning venues we get to visit and there all still so many hidden gems to discover! For sure one of our favorite things to do ✨ And of course we want to share them with you 🫶🏻
