A quick update on the plans for an African matinee as soon as we find a location; We asked for suggestions on how to call the show and you responded massively. Thank you very much for the enthusiasm and for all of those original suggestions! We are happy to tell you that one of those suggestions has now been adopted as the name of the show! It is a name that captures the heart of what we have in mind and makes a wordplay out of it. Above all, it is the name that is still available in case we need to build a website, create social media profiles for the event. What is the name? You will have to be patient with us. If we reveal it now, others might go and register it and we don't want that. So as soon as we are sure we have a "go" we will of course make the name known! Meanwhile we are just calling it by its work title of "African Matinee" and we have opened a WhatsApp channel that you can subscribe to for all the latest news. WhatsApp is easier for these kinds of news. Join the news channel and press the notification bell too!

Every show will based on the theme of a different African country? Well, we are excited to tell you we have finally started that search journey! There may be some exciting news soon! We live in a golden era of Africa-themed parties. Every week there is an African party. Jollove, Mama Africa, Amapiano, Afro-this party, Afro-that party etc. So many African-music themed events and parties. Sometimes 5 different Afro parties in a weekend! More choices than ever!
But do you, like some of us, feel like, NO, NO, NO, I don't feel at home at any of these parties? If so, you are either very old or you really know your African music! Which are you? Are you old or are you a true connoisseur? Or both? 😂

Thanks to those whose gift was their presence and their smiles. Thanks to those who could not come (mainly because the news that Africa Night was going to stop came too sudden to change their other plans. Thanks for all the messages of love both verbal and via text messages. A longer blog (or vlog) will be written that will cover more layers. Thank you for an unforgettable night.
