The technician app gives an overview of the day that it is set to, and downloads the relevant presentation files.
At the top is an indication of the day's sessions, with a progress bar that updates with the time.
Each presentation has the start time, end time, duration and relevant files clearly visible.
You can find a more detailed view of the files for a specific presentation by clicking on the button on the right.
Here you will find details like file size, format, number of slides, when it was last updated and potential issues found by our scan tool, such as a potentially unsupported video format or font, or an image that may need resizing.
This lets technicians zero in on issues ahead of time.
When downloaded, the files are sorted by day, session and then presentation, with appropriate time stamps on each folder to make them easier to sort through.

Slidecrew Software does for your event
The core of Slidecrew is our presentation management software.
Developed in-house, by staff with many years of experience, and born out of a desire to streamline event management and prevent problems before they happen.
There are three ways to get your event information ready.
The first is to enter it directly through the portal.
Second, you could upload a spreadsheet with the information.
Or finally, data can be imported from other event platforms, through an A.P.I.
This works for all information, except the presentation files themselves.
For those, speakers receive an email requesting their files, with embedded links for easy, drag & drop upload.
Each email is personalized using a custom template that draws from your event information.
Once uploaded, the presentation files can be checked for common errors using our scan-tool, and the presenter can go through them with a technician at the Speaker Service Centre.
If a newer version of a file is uploaded, on-site or via the email, the older ones will be archived, but still accessible.
