Behind these doors it slowly all started for Danny2D. He practiced since 2002 on his first set, two discmans and a small mixer. In 2003 Danny2D, when he was 14 years old, he took part in a DJ Mix Marathon in De Smid in Reijmerstock, the nightlife location at that moment. He became a DJ who increasingly asked in various nightlife locations, and certainly not the least locations, Peppermill, Nr. 7ev

en, Club Comeback, Club Monaco (BE), Snowworld, Rode Ridder, Cafe Defile, The Beer Kompanie and the local pubs in and around Voerendaal. In 2012 he even reached the 4the place with the DJ Contest of DanceTour Maastricht. However, this was just not enough for the finals.
