As Producers & DJ’s most of our time listening to music is very technical & mechanical, short bits where we either scroll through tracks to play at our next gig or just looping through some interesting part of a track that inspires us, caught our ear or we would like to recreate.

If you are anything like me trying to juggle between a day job, family, meeting release deadlines and gigs, leaves you very little time to fully listen to music as it was meant to be listened.
I remember when I was a teen or in my twenties I used to just lay on my bed, turn on some music and close my eyes, for a couple of hours that would take my mind to distant planets, I miss that sometimes.

So I think it’s important from time to time to pause your life for a bit, put some records on and just listen. Get inspired again and rekindle that love for the music that got us all here where we are now…
