The second edition of our FLAMENCO STUDENTS GALA 2024 was a success. A burst of happiness!

I am very happy and full of love for the people, for Flamenco, for the community of the Netherlands!

This artistic duo offers a unique rhythmic connection and a deep understanding of flamenco that arises from 25 years of working closely together.
They have participated in renowned festivals such as the Montreux Jazz Festival, WOMAD Festival, Seville Biennial, Jerez Festival, and the Sydney Opera House. Their flamenco company, PUERTO FLAMENCO, based in Seville, has developed a particular vision of traditional flamenco with contemporary scenic design and direction, performing in prestigious venues and touring numerous festivals and theaters worldwide.

Een avondvullend programma waar flamenco leerlingen van 7 tot 70 jaar met hun docenten originele flamenco choreografieën dansen met passie en kunde voor het grote publiek. Uniek hierin is dat zij begeleid worden door de beste flamenco muzikanten in het land, waaronder Vicente Jose Santiago en Erminia Fernandez Cordoba. Daarnaast is dit gala voor jong en oud ook een mooie kennismaking met de verschillende facetten van dit passievolle muziekgenre. Είμαι σχεδόν έτοιμη!
Εγώ και η μικρή ομάδα μας που βοηθά και δουλεύει φουλ για το καλοκαίρι που έρχεται.
Η περσινή χρονιά, ήταν μια χρονιά δύσκολη που έπρεπε να σηκώσω ένα πολύ μεγάλο βάρος από λάθος επιλογές και ατυχείς συγκυρίες.
Φέτος, κάπως φυσάει ένα όμορφο αεράκι, μου φέρνει δίπλα ανθρώπους χαρούμενους, με όρεξη που ήρθαν για να μείνουν.
Είμαι ευγνώμων που ΚΑΙ φέτος θα έχουμε την ευκαιρία να χαρούμε τον Βάμο και το flamenco camp μας. Ξεκίνησε μέσα στις καραντινες και τους φόβους κι όμως φέτος κλείνει 4 χρόνια!
Χάρη σε εσάς που το στηρίζετε και το αγαπάτε.
Φέτος θα φιλοξενήσουμε άλλο παρεάκι και ανυπομονώ! Θα έρθει ο Gabriel Aragú και η Θέτις Μισίου να χορέψουν και να διδάξουν, θα έρθει η φιλενάδα μου η καλή μου Alba Guerrero από τη Βαρκελώνη, να τραγουδήσει, θα έρθει ο Σταυρίς μας ο Πρεσσης (ναι τα μαθήματά του είναι must) και ένας κιθαρίστας ακόμα που πολλά έχω ακούσει αλλά δεν είχα την τιμή να δουλέψω μαζί του, ο Doruk Okuyucu, από την Κωνσταντινούπολη.

Έχω όμως διπλή χαρά που φέτος, παρέα με τον φίλο μου τον Νίκο από την YF productions, αποφασίσαμε να πάμε το Hola ταξίδι.... Το αξίζει μετά από 7 χρόνια! Ετοιμαζόμαστε έτσι για την όμορφη Υπάτη, στους πρόποδες του όρους Οίτη, στην όμορφη Ρούμελη, εκεί που έλαβαν χώρα οι μύθοι του Νάρκισσου και του Ηρακλή.
Νιώθουμε μεγάλη τιμή που οι άνθρωποι του ΤΟΠΟΣ Τόπος Τεχνών Χώρα - Artland Xwra , μας επέλεξαν για να συμμετέχουμε στο μεγάλο μεσογειακό φεστιβάλ που διοργανώνουν στις αρχές Αυγούστου, δίνοντας μας την ευκαιρία να παρουσιάσουμε ένα εκρηκτικό διήμερο του Hola Flamenco Festival στις 3+4 Αυγούστου.
Μαζί μας ο Σταύρος Πρεσσης, η Θέτις Μισίου (οικογένεια) και τι χαρά να φιλοξενούμε το μαγικό ντουέτο Puerto Flamenco ( Francesca Grima και Andreij Vuyicic) από τη Σεβίλλη για σεμινάρια που κάποια από αυτά είναι εντελώς δωρεάν και παραστάσεις. Έχουμε ακόμα 2 ονόματα που περιμένουμε αλλά ακόμα δε μπορώ να μιλήσω.
Σε όλο αυτό, μπορεί κανείς να έρθει με τη σκηνή του/της και να κατασκηνώσει στον χώρο που θα είναι κατάλληλα διαμορφωμένος για camping.

Τι να πω. Έχω πολλή αγάπη και για τα 2.
Η Κρήτη είναι Κρήτη. Με ο,τι αυτό σημαίνει.

Η Ύπατη έρχεται γλυκά, με ψυχραιμία και διάθεση για μοίρασμα.
Και τα 2 δηλαδή είναι εμπειρίες. Δε μπορώ να διαλέξω.

Το σίγουρο είναι ότι θα περάσουμε bomba 💣
