What is a Micro Lot? Micro Lot is about assistance. I understood this at the exhibition while talking to the founder of the company, Christoph. He spent a long time working with refugees in Africa in a position at the United Nations. He gained experience and knowledge in coffee and when he retired, he started a coffee business based on assistance. He organizes the collection of the best coffee from small farmers in Uganda and collaborates with importers. For him, it's better than just sitting in a café and reading news from newspapers. He provides an opportunity for small communities to earn a living, improving their livelihoods. He gives Uganda recognition in the international coffee arena as a supplier of high-quality specialty coffee. He gives us the opportunity to make an informed choice, to take a step towards conscious consumption, and to expand our understanding of this world. Before this exhibition, I might have passed by, but now I know. Coffee from is presented by our dear friends .coffee.ua from Ukraine. And when you see Micro Lotin a coffee description, you know it's about assistance, it's about unity, it's about quality.

We are so happy to serve Ukrainian coffee at Pådriv Stavanger and see that people liked it! Historien til et ukrainsk kaffehus ABOUT COFFEE . Vi - Oleksiy og Svitlana, er typiske små-, mikro-, og nanoprenører, men ikke-typiske entusiaster av vår virksomhet, kaffebrennere fra Cherkasy, kafe-eiere. Forelsket i kaffe. Men hvordan kom vi hit?

I 2014 flyttet vi til Canada. Med bakgrunn i journalistikk begynte jeg å søke etter jobb innen feltet, og til og med jobbe litt for en diasporautgivelse. Men følelsen av å gjøre det rette kom ikke til meg, og sjelen min var urolig. Og da skjedde World Barista Championship med oss. Vi åpnet til og med en amerikansk visum med vilje for denne begivenheten. For, som det er, en god venn, , som er to ganger Barista Champion of Ukraine og United Arab Emirates, kom til finalen i verdensmesterskapet, og vi ønsket å sitte i salen og støtte ham. Med et smil husker jeg nå hvordan en tolltjenestemann på grensen spurte, hva slags konkurranse det var, med kaffe tilberedning, var det en slags spøk? Ja, en spøk, mine opptredener fanget meg så mye at jeg urokkelig bestemte meg for å gå inn i kaffebransjen.

Første kafé med italiensk, mørk som natten, kaffe, første skummede melk, kalibrering av espresso, et halvt år med engelskopplæring, litt mer selvtillit. Deretter jobbet jeg hos JJ BEAN Coffee Roasters. Jeg vil fortelle deg, det er en ekte drøm: en familiebedrift, sosialt orientert (og for lokalsamfunnet og kaffegårdene), med sin egen brenning, direkte import, og en baristaskole til slutt. Som en vanlig barista jobbet jeg meg opp til å bli manager med hardt arbeid. Og som ingen andre, dekket Leosha min bak og inspirerte meg på hvert trinn. Han var den første i vår familie som gikk inn i gjestfrihetsbransjen, og det internasjonalt. Vår ikke så beskjedne erfaring på to fikk oss til å tenke - hvorfor ikke starte vår egen virksomhet? Og ikke i utlandet, men hjemme!.. .coffee.ua

Spring takes off scarves, breaks through with chamomiles, and flows with new coffee. Say hello to our Rwanda Kilimbi! Absolute gastronomic pleasure. Caramel, sweet, fruity. With delicate notes of plum, red apple, pecan, and fragrant rooibos tea.
In the tropical volcanic soil of Rwanda, in Nyamasheke, lies the Kilimbi coffee station. Founded in 2016, this is the first coffee production in Rwanda processed by the semi-washed (honey) method. This processing station has repeatedly received the highest quality awards and in 2020 was the only and exclusive producer of "honey" coffee. This processing station includes 750 small farmers, and the total harvest volume is 300-350 tons of coffee per year. Our Rwanda Kilimbi micro-lot came to us in vacuum-sealed bags of 30 kg. It has a very unique flavor profile, with rich sweetness, notes of plum, red apple, caramel pecan, and the fragrant taste of rooibos tea. The body is rounded and creamy. The aftertaste is long and honey-like. It is only roasted for filter brewing
