By delight and joyfulness we were surprised by a post from another planner that had won 2nd Runner Up for The Best of Hartford 2024 last night! We are so grateful and beyond happy to have reached this accomplishment. Thank you to all of our friends, family, clients, clients families and friends, and vendor friends for voting for us this year!!

Even though we did rebrand in January from The Little Planner to AVENTZ Co., we are still the same powerhouse, intuitive, and creative planners that we were as TLP. AVENTZ Co. is just more of who we are as planners and people and carries more of who we aim to be in the future.

Looking for a Social Media Intern!

Job Description
The social media associate will be working with Abby to create a more visually appealing social media presence. This position is virtual as well as in person and will require some weekend availability to be involved at weddings. This position will require you to be the main person to run the social media accounts: Instagram and Facebook, Pinterest, and marketing for brand events hosted by AVENTZ Co.

This is a part time position with a stipend or college credit.

Responsibilities
● Build and execute social media strategy for each business account
● Increase engagement on Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook and LinkedIn
● Engage in bi-weekly meetings
● Generate, edit, publish and share weekly content (including text, photos, and videos)
that encourages engagement and generates leads
● Complete various marketing projects to build the brand and increase exposure
● Use brand tone of voice when writing to attract our target audience
● Manage Social Media accounts
● Content Creation
● Provide feedback to improve platform performance
● Work remote and in person
● Be present at events to capture the work of what happens behind the scenes
● Must have weekend availability based on event schedule
● Must have reliable transportation, phone, and laptop.

Qualifications:
● Must be a current high school student, rising senior or a graduate of the class of 2024 or a enrolled in a Bachelor’s/Associate’s program at an accredited college or university
● Extremely organized with strong attention to detail
● Punctual and dependable
● Proficient in editing programs (Lightroom, Google Suite, Canva, Vimeo, Youtube)
● Ability to write engaging copy and curate creative content
● Excellent written communication and proofreading skills
● Positive attitude and detail oriented
● Passion for social media and understanding of its business impact
● Excellent oral and written communication skills
● Ability to derive actionable insights from social media metrics and marketing data

I am delighted to announce the exciting rebrand of The Little Planner. After careful consideration, I have envisioned a brand that perfectly aligns with my personality and professional aspirations.

Throughout this process, I asked myself three fundamental questions: Who is my brand? What values does it embody? And why should it stand out from the rest?

Unbeknownst to many, my personal journey and experiences outside the event world have greatly shaped the warm, insightful, and considerate person I am today. I have come to realize that my true passion lies in curating events that reflect the unique essence of each client. It is crucial for my brand to adapt and evolve over time, constantly pushing boundaries and surpassing expectations.

A styled shoot that I have been curating in my mind for years came to life earlier this month! I would not have been able to pull all of this off without some dear help from Becky, Kelsey, and Shannon. 48 hours prior to this shoot our dress gal backed out and 2 couples had backed out. So I was scrambling, I filled in as the “bride” for this welcome dinner and Dorota from made a dress for us with in 24 hours. There is nothing like seeing the beauty of dream come true.

Your wedding should be what you want!

There are so many ideas out on Pinterest, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook etc. but in the end you should be following what you want to see and remember at your wedding.

Don’t let social media trends and ideas take over. If you like an idea save it, think it over, and then choose to trash it or keep it.

It’s YOUR day!! It should be tailored to what you want (and can afford). If you want a cotton candy machine get the cotton candy machine, if you want to walk down the aisle with your cat, do it! Don’t let social media dictate your wedding!

Or anything in your life…to be honest.

Social media is there to inspire and create. If you feel it is overwhelming you. Take a break. Its okay!

Your day should be about you and your partner, it should encompass who you are as people, what makes you two!!

So please remember everything you see does not need to be apart of your wedding!!

Hello to all my new followers, I’m Abby!

I have a mind for design and a keen eye for detail. Most events I like to add something unique to, so my clients aren’t having the atypical event. I think it’s important to have your event be tailored and designed for you!

I love working with clients who have an imaginative theme or color palette. I believe that bringing in textures, colors, and entertainment will enhance your guest experience ensuring it will be a night to remember!

I have recently started doing more styled shoots and have loved every second of it. Networking and being a team player are two aspects of business that are very important to me. If you are not willing to be open minded then how will you ever be able to learn?

Your photographer is going to want to capture all the little details!

When prepping for your wedding day create a details box - it doesn't need to be fancy it just needs to be remembered

You should include:

⚛ Dress and veil
⚛ Invitation suite (2 copies of the full suite, if possible)
⚛ Shoes
⚛ Jewelry
⚛ Family Heirlooms
⚛ Perfume/Cologne
⚛ Watches/Cufflinks
⚛ Flask/Lighters/Cigar Boxes
⚛ Something old, new, borrowed, blue
⚛ Ring box & all 3 rings – if all 3 are with you, your photo team will be able to photograph the full set. We’ll have time to get them to whoever will be holding them afterward.
⚛ Bouquet and/or loose florals – many florists are great about including a few loose flowers/greenery for styled detail photos. Don’t assume that they will automatically do this if you don’t ask, though. It’s also important to coordinate that these florals arrive by the designated time that these detailed photos happen.
⚛ Vow book(s)/ Special Notes
⚛ Any extra ribbon, accents, or items of significance that represent the day
