We are extremely saddened by every thing that has been happening in the past few week.
Our very own Pranesh Gautam was taken held into custody for over 6 days for reviewing a movie(kept anonymous for legal reason).
The move has violated the freedom of speech, as a citizen cannot even express his opinion freely.
A review has landed a comedian on a custody.
People living in a democratic country has been forced to keep their voice down.
Pranesh was let out of custody late last night at 8 pm. The case how ever is still going on.
The fight is still there, we will keep fighting for the freedom of speech.

So it’s been 1 whole year since it all started.
Astra Mic Night has completed 1 amazing year.
Exactly the day November 30, we started the first pre session of Astra Mic Night, which started all new era of talents on this platform.
We would like to thank everyone who supported us towards this journey. Everyone who helped us reach our goals. This event wouldn’t have been possible with out the awesome Astra team, O'14 Studios, Aesthetic and all other sponsors that were associated with us during this period of 1 year.
We would also like to thank Bikalpa Art Cafe & Bar, The Foyer Old School Restaurant S.R Printing House Tootle Butta CIMA Academics Loop Networks Pvt. Ltd. Chhath is an ancient Hindu Vedic festival historically native to the Indian subcontinent, more specifically, the Indian states of Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal as well as the Madhesh region of Nepal.The Chhath Puja is dedicated to the Sun and his wives Usha and Sangya or Sandhya in order to thank them for bestowing the bounties of life on earth and to request the granting of certain wishes. Chhath does not involve any idol worship. This festival is observed by Nepalese and Indian people, along with their diaspora. While it is a Hindu festival, some Muslims also celebrate Chhath.

The whole ceremony signifies the duty of a brother to protect his sister, as well as a sister's blessings for her brother.
