What's up Guys. At Legenz Motorsports NZ we believe in progression one step at a time which is why we are trialing a new app and getting away from snapchat.

The app is called CRU App. You should be able to find it in the Google and Apple store.

This is an invitation only app so you will need to message me to get the invite code.

This app will allow us to make an event and share directly to you as well as the meet layout and Route of the Event. You can also upload your cars as well as projects, chat with your mates on the cruise through the app.

This app works well overseas so hopefully it works for us in NZ

This app is not owned by us. We are just seeing if it will work at this stage.

App Name: CRU App

Dear car community,

This weekend, a group of automobile hobbyists and enthusiasts came together in Dunedin in a peaceful and loving manner to stand together and celebrate our growing and vibrant car scene. A scene that brings all walks of race, age, s*x, and economic backgrounds. Not only providing a community to those that lack family and friendship, but also a place to learn and grow both mentally and culturally. Cars and the culture have been a huge part of our lives and the lives of many past and future people to come. Nothing will or has ever stopped this… Its in our blood as a nation and as people globally.

The multi car club “invasion” of Dunedin to bring together all “enthusiasts” was a huge success with numbers into the 1000+ cars. It was never intended to get as big or be as popular as it was, but this just shows that the people of NZ need an outlet for our passion of cars and the culture.

“Only those who do nothing don't make mistakes” - Einstein

If I’m honest this has been one of the most heartbreaking things about the response of the scene, public, and media.
Nothing but negative responses and finger pointing from public gossip and false claims to other club leaders having a “cry” and running around like they are not involved or had any responsibility, to the media just feeding more fake or circumstantial evidence. A basic blame game.

Reckless Deciples went down with the intent of having a good time, to bring business and money spent locally as well as respectfully catering to everyone's needs and making an honest effort in bringing the wider car community together. Our intentions to only create positive effects in the greater picture.

As stated in the articles permission was granted to get onto Forbury track (decommissioned horse track), a drivers meeting was held and rules were in place to prevent serious harm towards themselves and others. Permission was via a Dunedin connection whom has family ties to the track etc. We sort this to take the cars off public roads and to provide a much safer and organized approach. Flag persons and rules as well as limited numbers were allowed on the track in respect to the place. Now the media is trying to say we cohersed our way in and acted in an inappropriate way. Honestly why would anyone do that??? Just another attempt to be negative and focus on the problem, not the solution.

The hard-park inside the stadium area was a complete success. People and crews from all over the south island came together and behaved relatively well. No dramas, fighting, and abuse. People felt safe and got to walk around freely. The police got welcomed in and treated with respect, yes they did make an apperance (even tho the article states they were to scared to enter) 400-500 cars We did our best to provide rubbish trucks and pick up, but unfortunately the amount of people made it impossible. We had people who walked around letting everyone know to take rubbish and not do skids. Yes we can do better in this area and yes we will hire or get volunteer crews in future to make sure any place is cleaner than we found it.

All we can do is provide and try.

Yes, some vehicles that came did skids at stadium. We tried to stop it. We understand that we hosted the event, but in doing so we all got warned to behave and we did our best to host for all ages and walks of life.

But we cannot speak on behalf of the few who ruined it for us all. In saying this we deeply and truly are sorry to those effected by everything that has come from the event but please know our intentions weren't to have created such a nuisance

We are advocates to make the improvements and grow and at the end of the day, we stood up and walked the walk… not just talk the talk.

Sincerely from

Grant Norman James
