🌟 It’s a public holiday, but we’re OPEN today from 9am - 4:30pm! No surcharges, no booking required.

We’ll have precut sunflowers available for purchase at our sunflower cart, $3 a stem or 4 for $10. OR, bring your own cutters and choose your own in the field - same prices apply. And don’t worry… we have some you can hire if you don’t own any. 😉

Please note: We’re not a full on café, but we’ve got you covered with drinks and ice creams available at our ticket cabin. Plus, a small coffee cart and will be here to serve up some yummies! 🍦☕🍴 Feel free to pack a picnic to make sure you don’t go hungry.

We are looking forward to being a part of these events with craft and face painting fun - watch out for details … Movies in Parks

We kick off our first kiriaka-movie in 2 months! Which may feel like a long time between now and then, and a busy one with Christmas, New Years, Waitangi Day, Anniversary Day before then - but it's never too late to start prepping for a screening under the stars!

You'll need something to keep warm with - when the sun sets, the temperatures drop, and a blanket or jacket is a great way to stay warm.

Bring some bug spray - each of our locations is different but bugs seem to enjoy them no matter what movie we play, so some bug spray is a good plan to stop yourself becoming dinner.

You can bring snacks and drinks (but these are family friendly events so keep the drinks family friendly) - and we'll also have a range of kai trucks available if you want to grab dinner while you're there.

You can also bring your four legged family members - although cats may not be so keen, dogs will need to be kept on a leash at all times.

And remember, these events are smoke free - which means no smokes or vapes.

Picnic & Paint - Sunflower Edition is back!
Jump on a unique experience to paint a canvas of Sunflowers while immersed in the beautiful setting of the Sunflower fields at Franklin Farm
Bring your own picnic and be guided to create your own relaxed artwork perfect for a date evening, a girls afternoon or a group of friends to chill paint and create
$60.00 per person. This includes entry into the Sunflower farm and all materials for the painting experience, you will be supplied with a canvas, paint ,brushes ,helpful images fresh Sunflowers,inspo and guidance.
BYO picnic blanket, cushions ,sun hat etc
after the painting session you are welcome to walk around and explore the fields take photos, pick your own sunflowers. This is at an additional cost of $3.00 per stem or 4 for $10.00.
