A few images capturing the amazing Paint & Sip under the canopy of aircraft at MOTATS Aviation Hall. What an incredible space to great creative. An evening of 40 artists , great music, atmosphere, food and refreshments. We love holding art sessions in immersive settings and this one was extraordinary.

Day Two of Bubble Fun at MOTAT (Museum of Transport and Technology) a really hot sunny day!
Crafty fun relocated to Band Rotunda for a little breeze. Face Painters today were Nancy , Joy and Annamarie and Jessica and Rachel on crafts. Always such a special weekend of smiles, experiences, discoveries and bubbles!

Day One of Bubble Weekend fun at MOTAT (Museum of Transport and Technology) - always such a joyous event- bubbles everywhere! We added bubbles to all of our favourite face Painting designs and the bubble zone is full of crafty bubble themed fun!
The team today was Nancy,Lisa and A***n on brushes and Jessica and Rachel on crafts.

We're just in the final stretch of setting up for this year's season of Movies in Parks (two weeks to go - woohoo!) So thought we'd introduce you to some of the amazing free pre-show family friendly entertainment we've got on site for you and your whānau to enjoy!

Our last picnic and paint of the season this year at Franklin Farm Waimauku - it has been epically glorious- pinch me perfect ( apart from our rainy session that added some extra dimensions to the fun!
What a setting and a backdrop- immersive painting with inspiration all around us. I decided to end this week with a circular canvas and I think it really suited the sunflower subject.
I like to create Paint & Sip experiences with a twist by having in special & inspirational spaces. Where shall we go next ?

So much additional fun at the fabulous Franklin Farm Waimauku this Waitangi Day. We are excited to be a part of it 🌻

Open Waitangi Day (Thurs 6 Feb) ☀️

Come and celebrate this public holiday with us at Franklin Farm Sunflower Fields and Butterfly House 9am - sunset, no booking required. 🌻🦋

We’ve got beautiful fields, heaps of Butterflies and a day PACKED with fun for the kids.

🏠 A FREE bouncy castle at the Sunflower Fields with from 9am - 7pm.

🎈FREE balloon twisting at the Butterfly House from 12.30pm - 3.00pm with .faces

🎨 FREE face painting from 10am - 12pm at the Sunflower Fields with and at the Butterfly House with

🌭🍔 The local lions club will be fundraising and serving up sausages and hamburgers down at the Sunflower Fields. Franklin Farm are sponsoring the food, and all profits go straight to the Lions who do amazing work in our community, so PLEASE come and support them!

☕️ will be down at The Sunflower Fields, and so will be the Candy Floss Bros serving up freshly spun candy floss. We’ll also have drinks and icecreams for sale too! 🍦

I love any time spent at Franklin Farm Waimauku

This place is magical - from the wonder of the Butterfly House to the breathtaking Sunflower fields. So much thought and care has been put in by the team at the Farm - always being innovative and offering extra fun in the form of Food trucks, coffee carts and more. A taste of nature and beauty that is uplifting, informative, inspiring, joyful and simply fun!
