In the heart of Mangere, Auckland, a bright celebration unfurled as a gorgeous Samoan couple married. The air was filled with pleasure and love, evoking the warmth of their Pacific Island background.
The wedding ceremony, which was attended by family and friends, evoked a strong sense of faith. As devout followers of Christ, the couple made vows that reflected their resolve to love, honour, and cherish each other in God's eyes. The ceremony demonstrated their spiritual foundation by uniting not only two people, but two souls connected by shared faith.

As the ceremony unfolded, the priest chanted ancient Sanskrit verses, and the couple circled the sacred fire, symbolizing their eternal commitment. The exchange of garlands, or "varmala," marked the acceptance of each other as life partners. Friends and family showered the couple with flower petals, symbolizing blessings and well-wishes for their journey ahead.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, the backyard transformed into a magical realm illuminated by fairy lights and flickering diyas. The couple, now united in marriage, surrounded by the love and warmth of their near and dear ones.

We consider ourselves immensely privileged to have been granted the honour of documenting the exquisite love celebration of Sangeetha and Vanujan's Tamil wedding. Even more so, I consider myself quite fortunate to have them as pals. We captured their vivid and colourful journey over the course of three amazing days.

It has been incredibly lovely to see their love story unfold and to be a part of their wedding day. I am so appreciative that I was able to take part in it all and that this experience has led to a beautiful friendship.
