Jo를 처음 만난건 꽃시장에서 였어요. 그렇게 한번 얼굴을 마주한게 전부였을뿐, 늘 인스타그램을 통해 서로의 삶을 엿보다가, 그녀의 집 근처를 지나는 길에 초대를 받아 방문하게 되었어요. 타샤튜더처럼 늙고싶다고..... 그렇게 제가 꿈꾸던 삶을 실제로 그녀가 살고 있더라구요. 프로테아, 브루니아처럼 절화로만 봐왔던 꽃들을 나무로 만나는 것도 신기했지만, 아담한 집, 공구와 장비로 가득찬 창고, 터덜터덜 작은 트랙터, 숲에서 튀어나온 야생토끼, 그걸 잡으러 쫓아가는 강아지, 끝도 없이 심어져 있는 나무들... 내가 마치 영화속으로 들어간 것 같던 시간들이었지요. 무심히 또 놀러오라던 Jo의 한마디였지만, 아직도 꺼지지않은 모닥불처럼 가슴에 소중히 담아두고 있어요. 아, 따뜻하다😌 She was just a grower to me. Oneday she invited me to her farm and she became my role model. She lives in my Big Picture. With warm sunlight, mild breeze, blue sky, running dogs, and endless green fields.

인연| 과테말라에서 여행 온 모녀와 짧은 대화를 나누었던 네즈 미술관. 뉴질랜드에서 왔다고 하니, 뉴질랜드를 몰라요. 어떻게 모를수 있지? 뉴~질랜드, 뉴질↗️랜드, 뉴질랜드↘️ 그 어떻게 말을 해도 모르길래, 호주 근처에 있다고 하니 그제서야 아~하는데, 확신에 안 찬 그런 아~있잖아요?😂 그러더라구요. 제 오전 일정은 네즈미술관에서 보내고, 우에노로 이동해서 출근한 토쿄언니를 잠시 만나 '하브스'에서 같이 점심을 먹고 헤어졌어요. 혼자 우에노공원을 산책하며 느리게 느리게 걷고. 걷다가 수북한 솜사탕같은 8겹벚나무를 보고 멈춰서 사진을 찍고. 하늘에서 왔다갔다하는 까마귀를 눈으로 쫓기도 하고. 그러다가 이 모녀를 순간 딱 마주쳤어요. 우린 모두 깜짝 놀랐고, 흔치 않은 우연에 신기해했죠. 여행의 즐거움은 일탈이 주는 예기치 못한 마주침에서 오는 것 같아요. 예전엔 이럴때면 다시 만날 것처럼 연락처를 주고받거나, 같이 차를 마시거나 했는데. 이젠 소중함을, 두근거림을 마음에 담아두는 게 더 좋아졌어요. 훗날 이 추억을 지긋이 다시 떠올릴 때 더 행복할 것 같아요. #여행#기록#일본#도쿄#네즈미술관#모녀#일상#글#뉴질랜드#오클랜드#japan#tokyo#nezumuseum
