Hey you lovely human! 🤍
Have I mentioned (you’ve probably heard me go on in my stories a few weeks back!) about my online planning platform?
It’s a New Zealand first! (If it’s not then flick me over the ear!) but something that I have been planning and dreaming about all year for you lovely couples that are wanting the support and guidance of a wedding planner, but don’t see the need or want to pay the full price for one!
I have been talking to so many couples and my fellow wedding planners in the UK about what young and very capable brides and couples are needing with their wedding planning journey.
So ta-daa! @nzbrideacademy was born!
I have already signed up a few brides who are keen to be involved in this complete online planning community subscription service.
It will include a huge amount of knowledge from myself to help you plan your own dream wedding without a hitch, as well as live sessions with me so you can ask all the questions you need!
Included also is a full array of online videos for every aspect of your planning journey, all with some amazing top tips on saving money, scheduling, where to start and much, much more!
As well as that, you will be getting monthly tips from industry vendors and live q&e sessions with them! They might be someone you wish to book, but just want to ask a few questions before hand!
And ON TOP of all that.. Your subscription includes all my secret planning tools I use to plan all my weddings!
And just for the price of a coffee a week, you are able to have the support of a wedding planner to help you on your journey… as well as be part of a great community of brides and couples in the same boat as you!
I’m taking applications whilst I’m finalising all the set up that’s going on behind the scenes.. there’s a lot to share and I can’t wait to see you all in there!
DM me to find out more and to get your name on that first list of applications and make sure you tag your mate who could do with a
Wedding Tip Wednesday!
So I’m going to stop writing numbers on these because I lost count a few weeks ago and have been numbering them all wrong.. sooo no more numbers ha!
This weeks tip is for the person who’s going to or thinking of proposing…
If you’re worried about the size, get your best ninja tactics in place to sneak a ring out that they know fits your partner with you to the jeweller. They will be able to take the measurements for you! (This is what my fiancé did!)
Or if you can’t get away with that, draw the circumference of the ring on a piece of paper!
This will be a good beginning for the jeweller and they will be able to size it close enough.
Remember it’s also better to be a size bigger than a size smaller! Easier to resize if needed and won’t cost as much if you need to add additional material.
These tips are all available on my story highlights on my page! Head over to there to catch up on all of them!

Wedding tip #21
Wedding Websites - these are very well known now and you’ve probably heard of them or had an experience with one! But I am completed sold on wedding websites! Here are a few things I love about them…
• You have more information on them than traditional invites
• Can personalise links to local hotels / accommodation / taxi’s / things to do in the area around your wedding!
• All the information is in one place - eliminates those phone calls or messages from guests with a handful of questions.
• Can be totally personalised to you & your wedding. Photos, information about you and your partner, you can put info about the bridal party up - cute!
(This is one I’m creating for my own wedding!)
If you want suggestions on the best sites to use send me a message and I can help you pick one!

Wedding Tip #21
A great things that has come out of this pandemic is it’s forced a lot of companies to invest in going online!
This is great news if you’re still searching for a venue, look how amazing this 3D walkthrough of @trentsvineyard is. It’s almost as good as actually being there!
Have a look on a few venue websites for 3D scans, they may have updated in the last year, and you can have a real good look around all from the comfort of your sofa after a long day at work!
It’s great being able to do this instead of taking a full day to go visit one venue (especially if they’re quite far away!) you can then make a decision if it’s worth going out to visit in person.
It’s also great for thinking of questions to take with you to ask the venue manager before you arrive!
