🎄 A Superb Saturday for our last show of the year, at Alpine View Care Centre.
Lovely Lesley looked after our plush Rudolph, and had the front seat of the house.
Little Curly Shirley Temple paid a visit, but she was up to mischief and maybe getting ‘Nuttin’ For Christmas’ 😬 lots of enjoyment from Rod, Brian, Hey Jude and Lois Lane.
Lots of boogies in our chairs to Boogie Woogie Santa Claus, and special hugs at the end from all. Hand clapping in the Christmas Polka was enjoyed by Vonne, Annette, Jan and Alison.

🌟 A Fantabulous Friday at The Russley Village!
Beautiful smiles from many, as Mavis & Myrtle danced and sang the afternoon away.
Our bells of silver were a real hit, especially among Robin, Jan, David and Lena in the front.
Super star dancer Amazing Anne had a ball, and we were so impressed with Terrific Thelma’s knowledge of all of the Christmas song words!
Neroli with her crochet along with Eunice and Mary enjoyed from the far side. And our rugby star Bill next to Morley enjoyed Auld Lang Syne.

Marvellous Monday at Margaret Stoddart with Linda and the team ⭐️
We brought the Christmas festive vibes with lots of music and fun.
Jan was all set up with her knitting, but next minute-Jingle bell time! Save the knitting for later Jan!
Lots of Falalala’s were sung by all-mostly all of the ‘J’s’ (Jim, Jean,John) and music was most enjoyed by many -Ralph, Pauline, Kim, Pii, Vivian and Babs. Mavis found another twin who was also a Christmas baby!!
We ended with a lovely round of Auld Lang Syne and held hands together.

🎄 Fun and festivities last Friday at St Allisa with lovely Amanda and Linda and the team….lovely big smiles and hugs and kisses on arrival for us!
We had an absolute jingle ball singing to all the classics, especially Petina, Waiutarangi and Margaret. Kevin was in heaven and Ray was full of sunshine again. We danced the Xmas polka and enjoyed jingling bells with Alison, Heather and Sharon. Gaynor wanted to dance the night away (and also claim our cuddly Santa 🎅🏽).
We also celebrated beautiful Nada turning 69 with hugs and happy birthday singing 🎶
Staff member Evelyn was on key with Feliz Navidad-amazing singing voices from all!!

A marvellous Monday for ‘Poetry in Motion’ at Burlington Lakehouse, with the residents coming alive with our fun music! 🎶
By the light of the silvery moon….we were inspired to write some poetry. A bit of a tale about Jack and Jill, with some lovely poems and fun rhymes. Beautiful smiles and interaction from Daphne, William, Jocelyn, Orane, Rosalie and Cindy.
We were so impressed with the singing and all the song lyrics known. Dennis, Frances, Maureen and Cindy had fun dancing 💃 🕺🏻
Thank you Maria and staff, we had lots of fun 💕

☀️ A sunshiney Friday at Alpine View with birthday girl Micah 🎈 and the lovely team 😎😎
Mavis & Myrtle turned some heads again at the hair salon.
Our favourite herb Basil enjoyed all of the songs, along with Vonnie knowing all of the words to Que Sera Sera 🎶
Lady Lacey at one point did not want to be a Doggy in the window, rather off on the hunt for crumbs!
Marvellous scarf wearing by Brian, and front and centre Lois Lane and Peter Piper. Sebian, Leslie, Maria, Goodnight Aileen and Mary Contrary were a simply lovely audience.

Taking time to stop and smell the flowers today….💐
We returned to The Lakehouse Dementia care to all our friends who have the most beautiful smiles and warm hugs.
Friendship was the theme and stories of chatting on the telephone for hours with friends ☎️
Fantastic dancing from Maureen, Frances, Jocelyn and Dennis as we learned the salsa dance.
ABBA’s Agnetha came along to give a friend a call with Ring Ring 🎶
Beautiful smiles Daphne, Gillian & Tony, William and beautiful Jan at the back 😊

Tuesday we returned to Lakehouse at Burlington where Dementia is so close to our hearts 💕
We took the residents around the world in 80 days and provided plenty of fun and laughter-especially when Mavis had to battle the croc🐊 when we waltzed with Matilda!! 🇦🇺
A tear was shed by dear Dennis with Dean Martin’s That’s Amore ❤️
French Orane enjoyed our travel through France 🇫🇷 with Edith Piaf.
And superb singers Cindy, Gus, Rosalie, Maureen, Jocelyn and Frances.

Mavis & Myrtle certainly turned some heads with Mavis having a bit of a bad hair day…..
Marilyn Monroe made Ray’s day and turned him into a ray of sunshine ☀️
Beautiful singing from Waiutarangi, Kevin, Mary quite contrary and Margaret and Sharon in the front row. Thanks Gaynor and Evan, who always give us lovely hugs afterwards and let us know how much they enjoy our show 😊

Friday night Happy Hour fun at Lady Wigram Retirement Village. 🥂
Mavis & Myrtle took off on a jet plane around the world…… ✈️
First though, Myrtle had a bit of a plaster disaster with a bleeding finger! With thanks to Tara she stayed alive🕺🏻💃
Policeman Brian helped with the quiz, and we had some fantastic winning/singing/dancing from Faye x2, April the calendar girl, Noeline, Janet, Dorothy, Linda, Marlene.
Not forgetting cheeky chaps John, Rod, Bob and Ron.

We brought the sparkle and pizzazz to The Russley Village today with 1950’s cooking 🥧 and cleaning 🧹 ✨ Great participants in the front row today were Anne, Lois Lane, Mary (hmm not her real name) Noel Christmas, Jane Doe and Bill the rugby legend. Thank you to Ester and the team for having us. Shake, rattle and roll on! 🎶
