One of the great perks of this job is getting to hear from truly incredible people.

During the recent Mid Canterbury Sports Awards in Ashburton, I had the pleasure of hearing Anna Grimaldi - Athlete share her Olympic journey and the unforgettable moment she won gold.

I even got to wear the medal—it's much heavier than it looks!

Anna is a truly captivating woman, and her story was nothing short of inspiring. She captivated an audience of 200 people for 40 minutes—no easy feat.

On Saturday, I had the joy of setting up a surprise wedding proposal at The George. I absolutely love being part of these special moments!

What made this one even more exciting is that I never actually met the couple in person — everything was arranged over email.

It’s not easy to pull off a surprise like this without a bit of help behind the scenes, but with the right planning and teamwork from The Little Hire Company, magic really does happen.

What a hectic few months it has been – but what an incredible event!

I've loved working alongside the Sport Canterbury team on this year’s annual Sports Awards. It's always such a privilege to be part of an event that celebrates not only high performance but also the heart of our sporting community.

A true highlight of the night was the fabulous Jackie Clarke as MC and entertainment – absolute brilliance!
