Kiaora koutou 🤗

It has been a long time since we've posted out on our social media platforms but rest assured that we are still doing our 'thing'. Our first event for the year started off with this circus themed backdrop being made for Leiana

Long story short, it is with sadness and great pleasure that we announce temporary changes to our little styling company until further notice

We are opening doors to bigger and better opportunities and have decided that it's in our best interest to join the team of stylists over at HU&CO Party Hire home of all things party 🖤

Due to this new commitment we have taken on, we will only be available by special app and our schedule for events will be limited due to our busy weekends with the ladies next door!

Our page will stay active posting looks and creations we haven't yet shared to our forums and we will continue to offer our services as a form of koha to those in need when we can

Services will be limited and all services are to be booked 4 weeks prior to any event. There will be no guarantee that we will have the availability to cater to your needs but any further enquiries are welcome!

Here's to keeping the lights on for whanau, hapu and iwi all across the nation and here's to giving back to our communities, the right way. We had the opportunity to be part of something special today and we are blessed to be part of the movement that is New Zealand's first maori owned power company.

Shoutout to Vinnies Hamilton for providing this safe space to share and laugh together. For providing an opportunity for the whanau at NMR to collect donations over a Kai and for supporting those who are most in need.

We enjoyed collaborating with Morehu and her business 'g styling establishment' who provided today's set up.

We were just glad to be able to lend a helping hand where we could with balloons and decor. We hope the kids enjoy their party 🖤

The Twenty2 Twins 🤗

Jenna & Maleina are twin sister creatives with a background in performing arts. They are the creators of boss up nation dance and events and they aim to empower wahine through movement, culture and connection to self. They are a cultural powerhouse with more than 20 years worth of combined experience.

They are filled with the hope to inspire others and bring people together through boss up nation events and have collaborated with many local businesses and artists. They provide an opportunity for wāhine to showcase their pakihi through and at these events.

Introducing Cater To You 🤍

First let's talk about women and the fact that we have the power to create life. Everyone knows only a female can give birth, right?

But do you actually know that in order for this to happen? We must ensure that our reproductive systems are continously 'reproducing' and that we have a healthy menstrual cycle.

Menstrual cycles happen once a month and are better known as a period. There is so much stigma that surrounds this topic and it is as normal as normal can get.

So many young women are living in fear of sharing their experiences with puberty and as periods continue to be stigmatized among society it becomes alot harder to share in the conversations that should be spoken about more often.

We love the fact that there is someone out there thinking of period care products and arranging cute little feminine packages to care for the needs of wahine alike.

They also provide boxes for new mums to help with feeding and each box is never the same. They customize boxes for birthing experiences and as gifts and make the process so much easier for all women.

Cocomelon on the menu 🖤

For a special little two year old who celebrated at ninja Valley today. Huge thanks to the queens of all things party HU&CO for allowing the usage of one of their foam letter tables to complete this look.

Nga mihi to the whanau who trusted the process and allowed us to work our magic and a big thank you to the staff at Ninja Valley for going the extra mile and allowing us in after hours while helping us haul items up and down the stairs, we truly appreciate it.

We were more than honored to play a part in helping bring this special day together for Anthony Evans and his lovely wife Te Aroha Hapi- Miss Te Arawa 2021

It was a blast to have served such a beautiful young couple, help bring their visions to life and enable them to have a stress free day that they will remember for the rest of their lives.
