Kia maahorahora te reo🖤✨️

It’s Te Wiki o te Reo Maaori, and to celebrate we’re looking back at the incredible wharekura, koohanga reo, and pakihi Maaori we’ve had the pleasure of hosting this year. We love providing spaces that bring our community together to celebrate matauranga maaori.

Some highlights for 2024 so far have been hosting a record-breaking 22 kapa haka teams at GLOBOX Arena, Claudelands in Tainui Waka Cultural Trust’s Tainui Waka Kapa Haka Festival in April. The Ahuwhenua Trophy Excellence in Māori Farming Award 2024 – Dairy in May. The sold-out Corrella, Stan Walker & L.A.B Matariki concert in June and the sold-out Ako Ararau Maaori Expo with the TupuOra Education and Development Ltd in July.

Kia maahorahora te reo - let’s make it seen, let’s make it heard! We’re just getting started with some exciting toi events on the horizon 😉
