Well, I can't quite believe it, but I’m absolutely overjoyed to have been announced OUTSTANDING WEDDING CELEBRANT 2025 at the Wedding Industry Awards New Zealand last night! 💫

I'm pretty overwhelmed - in the best possible way. It's truly such an honour to have had nominations from my couples, and being named a finalist was absolutely amazing - but this?! Somebody pinch me! 🤗😁

To be acknowledged for doing something I geniunely love, is very special.
For me, marriage ceremonies are the heart of the wedding and I get to help create something amazing for so many beautiful couples. I love hearing their love stories and I pour my heart into reflecting them throughout their most special day. To have that passion and effort recognised in this way, is incredibly rewarding.

Being a Marrige Celebrant is a dream I never even knew I had, until it became a reality 8 years ago. It is honestly such a privilege to have this role, and I had no idea how much it would inspire and fill me with joy.

These couples invite me to be a part of their big day. They trust me with celebrating their love, and to make their ceremony uniquely special. It’s an honour I never take lightly and every couple holds a special place in my heart.

I feel incredibly grateful to them, it's their kind words that got me this wonderful award! I'm lucky to have an amazing support network that makes it possible for me to continue with this little love gig. 💍❤️

I am absolutely thrilled to announce that I have been named a FINALIST for Outstanding Marriage Celebrant, at the New Zealand Wedding Industry Awards!

I'm still buzzing from the nominations I received, and to be selected as a finalist... my heart is bursting! I am so incredibly excited, proud and thankful for this acknowledgement.
This recognition means the world to me, I love creating wedding ceremonies for my couples and it's amazing to know that they love them too.

To my beautiful couples—thank you for trusting me with your most special day. For choosing me to be a part of your love story. I adore this gig, and being a part of each wedding is a privilege that I don't ever take for granted.

I am looking forward to celebrating with so many talented, passionate wedding professionals who also pour their hearts into what they do. I'm going to be in wonderful company and I feel so honoured to be one of three finalists in my category.

What an absolute honour it was to stand beside S & C as they celebrated their beautiful love and commitment. Surrounded by just a handful of their closest loved ones, every moment felt intimate, meaningful, and filled with warmth.

Having known the bride and her family for nearly 30 years, this day held a special place in my heart. Their ceremony was imperfectly perfect—authentic, emotional, and full of joy. They truly had the time of their lives, marking a beautiful beginning to their journey as husband and wife.

D & J had a lovely ceremony under the trees at Hygge back in November 24. The stunning beachfront venue gave us all the views... and that day - all the chills! It was an unexpectedly cold day at Clifton Bay, but while the weather brought an extra layer or two, it also brought everyone a little closer - wrapped in blankets, laughter and love. Proof that even the coldest days can hold the warmest memories. 💗

Well, we are in April and Wedding Season is almost coming to an end already! It has been a crazy busy summer, between weddings, school holidays, being in recovery mode for my son, finishing up with Stonewood Homes HB, and finding my feet (wings?) In the travel industry again with Travel Expert! No wonder this Page hasn't seen much action...

But... the ceremonies I have created for this seasons gorgeous couples deserve a spot here, so they are coming up over the next few days.

I truly love this love thing I have going on, and I an so grateful for the beautiful couples that put their trust in me to "make it official". 🥰

What a day for a wedding!
With a view to match 😍
Hawke's Bay really put in on for this beautiful day, and it was a very special ceremony. The Bride and I are old friends and colleagues, so when she asked if I would be their celebrant, I considered it an absolute honour.
Not only were we celebrating their love, and the future they have ahead, but today was also their 10 year anniversary!
Congratulations L & J, wishing you a lifetime of love and adventure ###
