Many of you know the wonderful Greg and Debbie Flutey, who brought us that delicious bread at the markets each weekend. After their well-deserved retirement, I’m excited to share that I’ll be taking over their bread stall!

With a fantastic handover and training from Greg and Debbie themselves, I’m all set to bring fresh, delicious bread to our community. Our first market is tomorrow at the Kaitaia markets, and I can’t wait to see you there. Come say hi and grab a loaf (or two)!

We will have the food trailer there with a delicious menu as always:
Loaded seafood chowder fries
Paua n cream loaded fries
Steak and egg ciabatta
Bacon n egg ciabatta
Pork belly ciabbatta

Plus, the girls will have a special stall selling these must have Whitakers chocolate strawberries 🍓 (add Biscoff or marshmallows to really go all out!)

🚨 Looking for an experienced cook to join the Tash Henry Catering team! 🍴

Tash , Henry catering is looking for an experience cook to join the team. Joe’s Kitchen it’s located in the heart of the Kaitaia RSA, and is currently open two nights per week. We provide lunches to schools in the region as part of the school lunch program. We cater many events including weddings, birthdays, tangi and more and have a food trailer to attend events, including the Kaitaia markets.
While this position is predominantly for the operation of Joe’s kitchen. We are happy to consider work in these other areas for the right candidate!

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and cook meals in accordance with recipes and dietary guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Adapt to various work environments and tasks as needed.
- Maintain punctuality and demonstrate excellent time management skills.
- Utilize Excel for scheduling, inventory management, and reporting.
- Show a willingness to learn and develop new skills as required.

**Must-Haves:**
- Proven cooking skills.
- Positive, can-do attitude.
- Strong team player mentality.
- Flexibility to adapt to different work settings.
- Excellent punctuality and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the role.
