I am a Professional Game Master, focusing on 5th Edition Dungeons and Dragons (D&D). I currently run weekly games for my customers online using Discord and Roll20, using a combination of pre-written campaigns produced by Dungeons & Dragons, third-party content, and content I have created. I am also expanding into in-person gaming (once we are in covid alert level 1 or lower). This will range from

events and one-off games for children, workplace team-building games, and long running games for adults. My role as a Professional Game Master includes:
- Providing content and resources to run games of D&D.
- Providing a thorough knowledge of game rules and pragmatic application of the rules to provide a fun but fair experience.
- In terms of online games, ensure that individual players are matched and teamed up with similar minded players to maximise their enjoyment and minimise any potential conflict or disruptions.
- Provide an environment where players feel encouraged to play and have fun without judgement. Going forward, I have the follwing goals:
- Run a streamed game of D&D which is setup and run to be friendly to those who may be unfamilar with D&D and still entertain those who are knowledgable about D&D.
- Maintain and grow my existing D&D knowledge, including learning new modules as they are released, staying up-to-date with the latest rule set, and using 3rd-party resources to expand content available.
- Learn other gaming systems to provide other options to those who dislike or want a change from D&D. Other systems I am looking into include: Vampire the Masquerade, Call of Cthulhu, Cyberpunk, and a variety of other games.

The Wednesday Knights have been approached by a local busybody Karen Whinetell who has accused her neighbor of trying to summon devils. Depsite knowing that Karen is a troublemaker, the guild can't afford to have her spread around that the guild doesn't help people in need.

Join the party to investigate the rumors of devil summoning, and Karen's problem with her neighbors.

Pick from one of nine prebuilt characters to jump into this fast paced one-shot full of combat and shinanigans. Returning players are welcome to carry forward their existing characters or try someone new.

The latest free map in my collection! "Hosh's House"

This map was a lot of fun to make and play in.

In our Thursday night campaign, the party gnome called Hosh had is past changed by an eldritch monster. This upset the agents of time who attempted to recreate the moment that was changed in order to fix it. This ended up with the whole party turned into kids and joining Hosh as the breakfast table!

A new game slot has opened up!

Jump in for a classic dungeon adventure with the Sunless Citadel. Explore a fallen fortress, negotiate traps, solve puzzles, interact with Goblins, and try to find the missing adventurers who disappeared here a few months ago.

This level 1 to 3 adventure is perfect for both new players and experienced players.

This adventure has a lot of fun combat, plenty of scope of role-play, and is not bogged down with too many puzzles and traps – but has enough to satisfy those who like them. And playing this adventure with me will involve a lot of laughs!

My version of this adventure includes additional unique named NPCs to add variety to both combat and role-play.

In regards to the Open Game License 1.1

I have read the public copy of the alleged OGL 1.1

Based on my understanding of the wording of this document, should the updated OGL be released as it stands it will have no effect on my business in its current form. Any content I produce that would be captured under the OGL is covered by the Fan Content Policy.

My future plans to produce written D&D materials will be caught under the new OGL. However, while the terms are not ideal, they are acceptable to me and will not prevent me from achieving this goal.

However, I am supporting other creators and the greater TTRPG community. The OGL 1.1 represents a great change in how the customer base interacts with D&D content. The leaked copy has caused a great amount of stress with many creators, with many abandoning projects, rushing projects, or rewriting projects to avoid being caught under the OGL 1.1.

I believe that the release of the OGL 1.1 will reduce the number of third-party content made for D&D and will drive many of the creators (as well as players and game masters) to other gaming systems, eroding the overall value of D&D.

Starting Monday 7 November 2022, I will be running Call of the Netherdeep. This adventure is set in Exandria (Critical Role Universe) and will span continents, as well as levels 1 to 12+.

The planned session times are 8pm to 10pm (but sometime we will run longer). $25 per player per session, with the first session being free. The first session will cover the standard Session 0 goodness.

We require a minimum of 3 players to get this campaign started, capping the squad at 5 players.

I love a game that requires a good amount of brain-power and decision-making, especially if that thinking and deciding is done on the edge of my seat with a clock ticking behind my ear.

Based on my personal experience, this is how I would rank some adventures in terms of stress levels.
