MUFASA’S tasteful selector aesthetic, epic stage presence and fluency with the tools coalesce in service to any energy.

In scenes saturated by sprawling subdivisions of sound, the presence of a master vibe architect can be an asset to any cultural landscape. Digging deep early on for a strong foundation to the night, framing up a great dance floor, raising the roof, getting s**t electric or lighting the whole fiasco on fire.

One thing is for sure, Mufasa’s boombastic bass braap fatness transcends definition by genre. Immersed in Aotearoa's festival scene and bathing in bass culture, dancing through various communities collecting the greatest hearts and minds of his generation. This DJ isn’t just a DJ, he’s a tall tree in an socio-cultural ecosystem.

DOVBLEVISION began their brew when Jimmy Fresh encountered Kauri in an afterparty hot tub, only months after his legendary bass set that rattled The Portal of Splore ’21. Kauri asked for DJ lessons, Jimmy obliged! Cue lockdown, a cute romance story and a shared desire in crafting next-level experiences for the local scene, DOVBLEVISION initially dished an eclectic trap, dubstep and DnB heavy flavour, inspired by their love of bass music.

DOVBLEVISION were surprised when the Universe snowballed them through a series of gigs requesting their slay-the-floor energy, in the genre of house. They gladly took on the challenge, but little did they know that by entering the realms of tech house, their fate would be sealed.

2 years later and they have tasted the tech house, smelled the tech house, felt the tech house. They have become one with the tech house, all while staying true to their love of filthy drops and big throw-down energy.

Having refined their fateful flavour on the stages of Riverbeats, Spring Festival, Resolution and NZ Spirit, the hype for DOVBLEVISION continues to grow as Jimmy and Kauri dish a unique, driving energy to every sound system that crosses their path. DOVBLEVISION delivers the Chef’s Kiss, TECH HOUSE style.

Penetrating basslines, grooved rhythms, a delicate dash of pew-pews, funk and nostalgic bangers, accompanied with a buffet of riveting peak-time drops that will have you cutting shapes from starter to end course.
