Celebrating 20 Years of Love 💗

It’s been very quiet lately and intentionally so, as I prepare to walk a new path that God is gently guiding me toward. But behind the scenes, we are still moving with purpose.
Last week, I received a special request and had the honour of being part of something truly beautiful. 🥹

Today we celebrated. No big crowd. Simple. Intimate. Heartfelt.
Tai and Aloma, who have shared 20 years of marriage, came to me not for a vow renewal or a grand ceremony, but simply to bless their new wedding rings. 💍

In that quiet moment, words of encouragement from the Word of God were exchanged for renewed commitment. As they held hands, I placed mine over theirs and prayed over them and this new milestone in their journey together.

We reflected on Ecclesiastes 4:12 "A cord of three strands is not easily broken.”
Their love, their commitment, and the presence of God, still strong, still steady, still sacred. 🙏

Their rings, beautifully simple, now carry the weight of years lived, lessons learned, and a love that still says “I do.” 💕

To Mr and Mrs Tai Tuati, Happy 20th Wedding Anniversary today 💑 Thank you for allowing me to be part of this moment. It was both a blessing and an honour.

May the next 20 years be richer, deeper, and more filled with God’s love, joy, and peace. 🙏

It's our 3rd Birthday today and first and foremost, I thank You God for Your guidance, strength, and endless grace. Without You, none of this would be possible.

Three years ago, I took a leap of faith, and today, I reflect with a heart full of gratitude. From intimate backyard ceremonies to grand celebrations of love, every wedding has been an honor to officiate. To all my beautiful couples, thank you for trusting me to be part of your special day! 🥰✨

I’d like to let you know that Married by Poko will be closed until 12th February 2025, and I won’t be accepting any new bookings during this time.

This year has been truly special, not only because I had the privilege of officiating beautiful ceremonies but also because I hosted mindfulness workshops, supporting many journeys toward balance and well-being. Your trust and support have meant the world to me. 💍💕🧘‍♀️

As we approach the festive season, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made this year unforgettable. May your holidays be filled with love, peace, and cherished moments with your loved ones. 🎄🌟

🌿 The Power of Letting Go 🌿

Last night, I had the privilege of hosting a heartfelt mindfulness session with a group of incredible wāhine, exploring the theme of letting go. It was a space filled with courage, vulnerability, and genuine connection, as we worked together to release what no longer serves us and embrace what truly matters.

✨ We began with the Leaf on a Stream mindfulness exercise, a gentle practice to let go of negative thoughts and make space for clarity.
✨ Through Balancing the Weight, we reflected on how to pace ourselves and release the burdens that weigh us down.
✨ A powerful values exercise helped narrow a long list to just four core values those that truly define and guide us. This practice reminded us that simplicity and alignment bring clarity and ease.
✨ To conclude, we wrote down our unwanted thoughts, hurts, and pain, symbolically placing them on the cross as an act of release and renewal. During this time, I shared a song I created called Letting Go, which added another layer of reflection and inspiration to the moment.

It was a humbling experience to witness the strength, compassion, and support shared among these wāhine. Letting go is not always easy, but it’s a profound act of self-care that allows us to move forward with greater peace and purpose.

Thank you to BBM for providing the space and refreshments, and to every wāhine who trusted the process and shared this journey with an open heart.

I am always grateful when God opens opportunities for me to share my skills to help elevate others 🙏

I am grateful to have had the opportunity to collaborate with BBM for a powerful mindfulness session. I was already blessed to have lead a session with our attitude and fit cohort, sharing mindfulness techniques and guiding them to connect more deeply with themselves.

Thanks to Dave and the amazing BBM team, I was also given the privilege to lead the Wahine Toa program at BBM HQ last night! A night filled with incredible moments of connection, sharing, and personal growth. We opened up, shared stories and struggles, built our confidence, and let ourselves fully enjoy the freedom of dance. To each of the amazing women who showed up, you made the night unforgettable, bringing energy, vulnerability, and strength that elevated the experience for everyone. Thank you all for making this journey so meaningful! 🙏
