Work should be completed by mid-July and the first race meeting is scheduled for May next year.

❌ SATURDAY’S RACE MEETING HAS BEEN ABANDONED❌

While blue skies would have been nice, the weather has been anything but in the Wellington region. The Trentham track has been inspected today by the RIB and Club representatives and in the interest of safety, the decision to abondon Saturday’s race meeting has been made.

Winter racing kicks off today at Woodville-Pahiatua Racing Club with the annual Feilding Jockey Club - Suppliers & Contractors Raceday at Woodville Racecourse

There’s plenty on offer for punters, with an action-packed program of 8 events kicking off at 11:50am. Whether you’re looking for a way out of the office to reward your staff, or simply enjoy a day out with friends, there’s something for everyone with free General Admission and a generous offer of beverages and hot food available for purchase.

Creative Catering are on the hunt for a reliable Kitchen Hand here at a Awapuni Function Centre!

This job will require you to also help out the senior kitchen staff when needed - so experience in the kitchen is desirable, perfect for someone who wants to move up in the kitchen in the future!

You will have minimum hours of 25 hours per week but leading into our busy period this could lead to more of a full time role.

Accounts Administrator Vacancy

RACE Inc are seeking an accounts administrator to join our office team at Palmerston North due to a vacancy. This position offers flexible work hours and may be full or part time.

The duties for this role include but are not limited too:
• Accurately administering Receivables – including track fees, stable rentals, land and site rentals at all venues, sponsorship and events.
• Streamlining and maintaining various track and owners databases to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
• Accurately administering Payables – processing accounts payable, data entry and creditors queries
• Preparing bank reconciliations monthly
• Processing and paying weekly payrolls
• Helping as and when required with raceday preparation
• Working with the RACE team on other projects as and when required.

The Summer Races are on this Friday (4 March) and it’s set to be a beautiful day on-course 🌞🐎

Please note that this Raceday will be run under the Red Traffic Light Setting with all attendees on-course fully vaccinated and pre-registered as either a member, owner, sponsor or hospitality guest.

The first of eight races will jump at 12.22pm and the last jumps at 4.27pm.

If you are unable to join us on-course make sure you catch the action on Trackside!

Although these Racedays are currently being planned under the red traffic light setting there will still be plenty of racing action on-course for prebooked guests or you can tune in on Trackside!
