Sadly i have to let everyone know that I have sold the business and from Saturday 14th November I will be closing the bistro. We will still be doing Christmas parties till 12th December. Thank you for all your support over the years Lorna

Thank you everyone that came over the weekend, we were fully booked on saturday and even managed to turn a few tables over twice, but we also had to turn a few people away, so please book in advance so you are not disappointed. Not sure why but saturdays are always full, but our Friday nights not quite so busy. We still have a few tables left for the weekend, but we are finding they are filling up really quickly this is our 3 weekend where we have been fully booked, thanks for everyone coming and trying us. Really pleased you are all enjoying the bistro.

I know you might think this is crazy but we have done our xmas brochure for staff parties, these will be held upstairs in our function room and also in the bistro, we already have a few bookings so don't leave it too late

I must thank everyone for coming to the Bistro this weekend, we were fully booked tonight , and we are fully booked next Saturday, sorry folks you will have to book early.
We are thinking about opening on a Thursday as well, let me know if you would be keen for us to open more days.
Our new menu was really popular this weekend, so glad you all liked it.
It is great to see people coming back time and time again,
the staff are really enjoying the bistro.

wow what a weekend we had at gear homestead bistro, we had a full house on saturday and sadly had to turn people away, shame though as you get a lot of people book a table and don't bother cancelling it. We could of used the table three times as we had to turn so many people away.

Gear Homestead bistro - thought you might like some pictures of our new menu which people seem to be loving.

We have confit of Duck with Asian greens, fillet of lamb with morrocan couscous, spinach and filo pastry, dauphinoise potatoes and a chocolate and almond torte with caramelised oranges and creme fraiche.
