Becca & Kevin ✨ the perfect example of a couple who are simply made for each other!

Honestly, these two are the perfect match. Proven by the fact that not only did Becca surprise Kevin with a pack of Pokémon cards for each of them to open during their vows, but later in their wedding day Kevin had the exact same idea.

Four Pokémon packs later, and it’s safe to say that for Becca & Kevin the greatest catch of all - the shiniest of shinies - was each other!

Alan & Tamara’s dreamy sunset elopement last October.

What you can’t see from the photos is that as well as that fluffy white stuff still on the mountains, there was also a cool evening breeze to make us all feel that little more alive!

Despite feeling a little fresh though, these two beauties rocked every minute on that mountaintop and their love was radiant ✨

Reminiscing on Caleb & Crystals adventure wedding back in January…

After some stubborn low hanging cloud thwarted our plans to hike right into The Doolans, we instead trekked our way up to this perfect little spot overlooking Lake Alta.

There, surrounded by their closest friends, they had the most beautiful, intimate, and heartfelt ceremony you can imagine. Seriously, there wasn’t a dry eye on that mountain!

This was such a fun, wholesome day. All captured by the immensely talented whose great banter was also much appreciated on the hike in and out. Let do this again some time??

May means things are beginning to slow down a little weddings wise, so it’s high time I began sharing some love from all of my incredible couples from this past few months.

Kickin’ things off with these two stunners, Kennedy & Olivia!

They said ‘I do’ at the Skippers Lookout up Coronet Peak back in November, and despite the rain hanging around they didn’t let it dampen their day.

Honestly, two of the most kind and genuine individuals I’ve ever met. Deserving of a lifetime of happiness!!

Just a quick post so you all know I’m still here, doing my thing and marrying wonderful couples (like the gorgeous Tessa & Blake here!)

2026 has been a roller coaster already, with so many nice highs (AKA a VERY busy summer) but also some pretty hard lows.

Just bear with me on the ol socials, because boy do I have so many gorgeous weddings and elopements to share from this past few months!

My ✨1st✨ post for 2026 (yikes!)

Yeap, it’s been a hot minute. But I’m sure you will all forgive me for not feeling all too excited by social media just now…

Nevertheless, in a world that feels a bit like it’s falling apart it feels like a real privilege be able to share something that’s good!

Susan & John came all the way to our little mountain town from NYC. They’d always envisaged sharing their vows immersed in the mountains, but because their families went to great lengths to join them here in New Zealand they also wanted to honour their presence by sharing the ceremony with them… And instead of compromising on what they wanted, they opted to do both!

Picture a close-knit lakeside ceremony on the shores of Lake Wakatipu with their nearest and dearest, followed by an intimate vow exchange in the snow by the remote and beautiful Lake Erskine (or save yourself the trouble and check out these pictures instead!)

I’m so glad Susan reached out to me with their two-ceremony plan, and I’m beyond grateful to have been a part of making it happen 🖤

From a first date walking Takapuna Beach, to a proposal on that same shoreline, and then a wedding surrounded by the people they love most - some love stories simply feel effortless, and theirs is one of them.

“Just the legals” still means being part of one of life’s biggest moments, and that’s never small!

Even if I’m only there to do the bare minimum, I’ll bring the same care, warmth, and relaxed energy as I would for a full ceremony. The moment you make things ‘official’ always deserves to feel special, personal, and full of heart. ✨

Marv & Dan had a good friend of theirs handle the love story and asked me if I’d step in to cover the essentials - it was beautiful.
