Sweetening the deal!

We have a raffle going on, thanks to the legends at Smoke on the Coast.

2 entry's for the SCA cook-off on Friday the 26th of April! That's one ticket, to win 2 entries!!

We're also stoked to announce that they have decided to throw in the ancillary entry aswell! And to top it off, a Smoke on the Coast Tee shirt! (Pictured below) cheers team!

And more to that, we're offering up a Wurth laser thermometer! (Pictured below)

$30 per ticket for a full comp, and some gear on top! Send us a message for details on how to enter.

Entries close on the 19th of April, draw will be held on the 20th! If enough numbers are reached, a second chance draw might be added still!

Alright team!

*Raffle time*

We're starting the year with a raffle! All funds will go to adding new features to the site! Lots of exciting things to come!

$25 per ticket, but what's the prize you ask? Heres where it gets interesting.

1x entry into any upcoming SCA comp anywhere in NZ!

We will also have a mystery 2nd prize to be drawn aswell, so two chances to win off each entry!!

Its almost time for the 2023 Ellesmere NZBA BBQ Competition!

The Ellesmere A&P Show proudly presents the 2nd annual "Smoke at the Lake" BBQ Competition on October 14th, 2023, at the Leeston Show grounds. This event provides an excellent opportunity to hone your BBQ skills before the Canterbury A&P Show competition.

Generous donations of ribs for competitors have been provided by Swift Ribs NZ.

New feature time,

The comp calendar will now support registration for events, and it's completely free!

When an event is created, competitors can register for the competition, receive email responses and reminders that a comp is coming up!

Hi All,

With the response Ive received with the website, the page is an extra avenue to communicate with you all in regards to upcoming competitions.

Any BBQ related events can be put up as well, and if you can add any other people who i cant, that would be great as id like to have featured posts that run alongside the website to help grow the BBQ scene in NZ.
