Hey everyone, just a little update on the current situation with the gym and the current renovations.

There has been alot of work going on behind the scenes the last few weeks in preparation for a few upgrades to the gym. Rest assured we are not far away from being ready to open our doors to new students and all going well it will be by the end of this month.

All of the team are super excited to get back into training and finish the year off strong.

As we begin to make plans to return to our office once we move to Alert Level 3 next week and we, collectively, can start the process of rebuilding our businesses and getting back to something resembling “normal” (albeit gradually) – we at Taranaki Weddings want to take the opportunity to express our gratitude to our clients who have, and continue, to stick with us in this time of struggle and uncertainty.

Taranaki Weddings, like many others is a small business who has felt the economic pressure of the Covid-19 pandemic and, like many others in our position, we’ve had to make changes to our business practices and have had to make sacrifices in order to protect the long-term viability of our business. Taranaki Weddings exists to support and promote local businesses and services and we have never been more determined to succeed in our mission to maintain a community that is positive and supportive – however we would not be able to do this if it were not for those vendors who have continued to support our business.

As anyone would expect, as we've moved through this period of uncertainty we have naturally lost, and continue to loose, a number of businesses from our Directory – this, of course, not only affects our financial position but our morale as well – but we have been uplifted and encouraged by the unwavering support of our continuing clients and for that, we have nothing but unrelenting gratitude. You collectively are enabling us to continue to provide a positive platform to both our Wedding Community and to the greater Taranaki Community who are seeking your services.

We also want to take the time to thank the people who follow our various social media pages, to those who have continued to use our website, who have supported our vendors and who have, with unwavering supported, booked tickets to our upcoming event.

Your MC or celebrant can announce your requests at the start of your ceremony but you can also set this expectation sooner by including a note on your wedding invites. Signage or chalkboards are another popular way of displaying this message as guests arrive.
