We had a lovely wedding on October 29th held at the superb Glenfalloch garden restaurant Glenfalloch Garden Cafe & Restaurant co ordinated by the terrific Alex.

Alex recommended Michelle "From the Heart Celebrant" to us who was with us every step of the way. All the paperwork was promptly attended to and we had a beautiful wedding ceremony. She looked after us.

But one thing we have learnt from experiencing a pandemic, is that time spent with family, friends and our loved ones is even more important than ever.

The fact is that weddings (and other ceremonies) will still go ahead, despite the changes we’ll need to make in how we plan these. And it is still possible to create an authentic and meaningful wedding ceremony post COVID-19.

Here's something a little different. Contact CANZ Support if you can help. Remember it has to be a real wedding - no getting married again unless it's a vow renewal. So no fakes! Read on:

We've been contacted by a freelance casting producer currently working for a prime-time network. The concept of the show is that each week their celebrity cast would help someone/s in need. For the first episode they want to do a wedding. Our celebrities will help the couple plan and organise their big wedding day. It might be taking them wedding dress shopping or helping them with their first dance or finding the perfect wedding venue or all of the above.

They are shooting the pilot episode in late October/early November and are looking for a worthy couple to take part. As it's only a few weeks away they need to get the word out now.

The are searching for a couple who didn't have the wedding of their dreams the first time around (for whatever reason) and deserve a second chance or a couple about to get married (maybe later this year or next) who could use a bit of help and wouldn't object to moving their big day forward. It could even be an older couple who want to renew their vows.
