We now have a 10x40m Clipframe Marquee available for hire!
This marquee is ideal for festivals, shows, corporate events, and those extra large weddings when you’re struggling to limit your guest list! 😅
As it is a modular marquee, we can build it as a 10x25m, 10x30m, 10x35m or 10x40m depending on your requirements and it can go on both grass and concrete.

Exciting news!

We have a new member joining the team this year! Baby Blackley is due late September 👶🏼❤️

They might take a bit of training but you will see our new team member on site from time to time over summer 😄

We will not be taking any bookings from 18th September to 13th October as we have some quality family time with our new addition.

We thought it was time to reintroduce ourselves for our new followers!

We are Zac and Amelia, owners of Marquee Hire Whangarei. We have been in business for 3 and a half years now.

When not working as an electrician, you’ll find Zac installing and dismantling marquees and doing site visits. Amelia is behind the scenes doing all the organising and is your main point of contact for enquiries and bookings. She also helps with installing marquees in peak season.

We love helping to create your vision and seeing events and weddings come to life! 🤩💃🕺🥂

Lets talk Lighting! 💡

The type of lighting you choose and how it is set up can make a big difference to how your marquee looks.

Did you know you can only use LED bulbs inside our marquees? Other bulbs can burn a hole in our marquee if they get too hot!

Working out how many metres of lighting you need to create the perfect atmosphere can be difficult, we can save you a job by suggesting how much lighting you need for your marquee AND we install all our lights that we hire, giving you more time to focus on more important tasks before your big event!

A big thank you to everyone who came along to support the Northland Wedding Expo! 👰‍♀️🤵‍♂️💍

We had so much fun catching up with all the wedding vendors and meeting lots of future brides and grooms!

Wooooooooo what a few days it's been!! 😁 and what a great turn out!

This couple were an absolute dream to work with!
They had a clear vision for their day and the result was an epic wedding setup with the ultimate party vibes!
We had torrential rain and flooding while setting up on the Friday but the sun came out for their special day on Saturday.

We hope everyone is safe and well after cyclone gabby wrecking havoc this week.

We had our 9x21 Peg and Pole marquee out for a wedding over the weekend, which we thought we’d be able to get packed down before the cyclone hit but the wind picked up sooner then expected. So up the marquee stayed, and with extra pegs and tie downs and regular checks, it survived without damage!
