This guy brings me a cup of tea in bed every single morning, he tucks me in & gives me a kiss every night.
As a florist, I know I’ll never get a bouquet of flowers (totally okay with that) I get this cool guy to spend forever with so I’m sorted ✌🏻

I’m Cass- the big cheese here at Flourish Events.
I’m like all of you, a simple gal with big dreams & a vision of sharing it with the world.
A little bit about me:
In my previous work life I was a Dairy Farmer.
I love all animals, big or small but rather partial to dogs & cows.
I love the outdoors, camping, gorgeous sunsets, hot tubs, the night sky, country music and good food.
I live & work on a lifestyle block in North Canterbury with my husband Dan (definitely one of my top 5 humans) our furbaby Pip and our gorgeous- you guessed it- pet cows.
I love lush florals, creating bespoke floral pieces for clients, and growing gorgeous sustainable blooms on our flower farm.

I’m not a fan of singles or collarettes truth be told. This is the only one I still grow every year- I call this gal Stacey’s Sunset, named after my little sister. I bred her my first year as a flower farmer and Stacey loves it. In the peaceful hours of dusk though- she shines 🌅

Devastating post to have to share
We lost our very beloved boy Rollo.
We found out on Thursday he had an aggressive cancer, so we chose to give him an extra love filled final few days, filled with his favourite people, food and a walk at his favourite river. We were so lucky to have him these past 7 years and he will be very sorely missed.
Clients & friends alike all know how dear our furbabies are to us, so it’s been a huge blow. We were incredibly appreciative of coming and taking some family portraits for us while we had a final walk with him in the flower farm before telling us it was time 🐾 hold your furbabies close guys.
Goodbye my boy x
