So it’s been a while . . . Time for another introduction

I’m Cass- the floral creative behind Flourish Events.
I’m an autumn lover- warm days, cool clear evenings & the best sunsets out. I’m a Tea gal ☕️
You’ll usually find me either in the flower field, like a crazy “plant mom” checking out the new growth on my babies, creating some pretty stellar floral pieces in our little studio or hanging with my furbabies.

I am passionate about sustainability and creating an ecofriendly floral industry, trying my best to grow & design gorgeous florals for you all that don’t compromise the earth.

I’m super lucky to have fallen into an amazing community of like minded wedding vendors, growers & creatives. My wonderful village!

I’m an ex dairy farmer, and I spend every spring calf rearing for multiple farms, falling back on my farming background and my love for all animals.

I’m currently recovering from a bad back injury and learning to adapt to my new “normal” so bear with me as I’m still finding my way.

Just a little PSA ✌🏻

Keep your eyes 👀 peeled, when our flower farm is back up & blooming, we’ll be releasing PYO tickets for evenings at the flower farm, bring your friends or come for a cute lil date & pick a bucket of fresh, spray free blooms! Tickets will be limited so when they drop- get in quick!

Flourish just got its first big girl car 🚙
Sadly our clients needs have outgrown the storage capabilities of little Suzy, however we can’t wait to unload all our floral goodies for this seasons amazing clients 🌸 she’s a hybrid too which is great for our green business.
Time to name her! DM us your name ideas, if we pick yours we might even do a cheeky little giveaway 🙌🏻
And If anyone would like to purchase little Suzy the Suzuki please DM us or check her out on trade me & FB as she needs to find a new home to love her as we have ❤️

We have created our own free downloadable seasonal flower guide.
I filled my first floret notebook with notes on flower availability during my first season while I was still studying floristry. I always wanted a flower guide that was created with my climate & season in mind- a by month or by season guide and flower names & faces for those that aren’t super up with flower knowledge. And I finally sat down & saw it through. Only took a few years but they do say all good things take time! 🌸

Had a ball at open day yesterday! So lovely meeting the public, potential clients & catching up with all our wonderful local vendors.

Open days are great for you to see/meet local vendors that gel well together. Funny thing is- I work frequently with a lot of these lovely people, however I don’t usually see them! So much of our work is independent & different times that’s it’s not often we all get to catch up. But it’s guaranteed a great time when we do!
