A BIG HUGE THANK YOU!

We have our food trailer back! On Friday morning when it was stolen I was sure it was gone forever and was trying to process how we would run our business without it. However our community stepped up and with the CCTV footage, observant customers and the quick action of the police we now have our trailer back!

There is a decent amount of damage to the inside and there is some cosmetic damage to fix on the outside but all things considered it’s in pretty good condition. It will be out of action for a couple of weeks while we get it all fixed up.

We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who took the time to check their cameras, let us know they had seen it in the Waeranga area, provided kind words of support and even baked for us! Thank you so much! We were blown away by the support in our community. We are so lucky to live and do business here!

We have over 20 years of hospitality experience through our Hauraki Plains based cafe/restaurant The Public Office and our catering team Orchard Providores.

We've had a great first two weeks and we're pleased you love our Cubanos. Here's our updated menu. We've added a smaller-sized Cubano because for some people our regular size was just too big and Cubanos without the bread for those more carb-conscious.

Because you asked for it, we now have coffee too.

Our regular hours will be 8am-2pm Wed-Sun.

"Cubanos" by The Caterers will be in the Countdown Whitianga carpark tomorrow and Wed-Sun every week. If you've seen the movie Chef, you'll know all about them, but if not, here's our menu. It's our first day tomorrow, come along and try them from 9am.
