"Since the beginning of LYSAGHT 29 years ago, we have been encouraging our people to look after their mental and physical wellbeing, with our core philosophy being “Healthy Body, Healthy Mind”. In the early days, multisport was the preferred choice, but with our recent growth this has evolved to focus on fun and inclusive events that everyone can get involved with.

Cycling has become one of those disciplines as it is accommodating for a wider range of fitness levels, hence when the Karapiro 100K Flyer came to us our ears piqued with interest. We believe this event is a perfect match for LYSAGHT as we have several keen and capable cyclists on the team, with the majority of our staff being able to participate at a level that suits them.

We are also excited to throw up a challenge to some of our clients to take part in this event alongside us. We have a great relationship with a number of our clients that extends beyond the working environment and look forward to getting competitive with them.

Furthermore, the Karapiro 100K Flyer event is a great opportunity to get to know the wider community in the Waikato region, and hopefully forge some great relationships with like-minded people that can connect with our growing Hamilton team."

NATIONAL VOLUNTEER WEEK

It's fitting that it's National Volunteer Week on the very week we have an amazing crew helping us for 5 days at the Hamilton Tough Guy and Gal Challenge events.

The team from Ngaruawahia College have been helping us for many years when we hit the Hamilton leg of Tough Guy and Gal, and we couldn't do it without them. From dancing up on the bank, to lending a hand to the children as they make their way around the muddy course, to handing out pins and race bibs or selling merchandise! We appreciate every single one of you!

THANKS TEAM, and to every other group, organisation and individual person who turn up to our events with your positive attitudes and helpful hands. Community spirit is alive and kicking.

Morena, unfortunately, due to the case of a natural disaster, the unsafe conditions on the course has led to the cancellation of the event today.

We apologise for the inconvenience this has caused and are deeply saddened that we cannot accommodate your child/ren today.

Tomorrow’s event is SOLD OUT therefore we cannot accommodate them there, however, please email [email protected] if you would like to transfer your entry to either one of our events in Palmerston North (Mon 27th & Tues 28th May) or Hawkes Bay (Thurs 30th May).

What better way to boost the confidence and spirit in a work team than by completing the 6km Tough Guy and Gal event together. Middleware NZ thinks so too and we are stoked to have them on board for 2024.

😎 WHY TOUGH GUY AND GAL 😎
Team culture is key to the team at Middleware New Zealand, and what better way for team building than challenging yourself to a mud run. That is how it began. Now over the past six years the team at Middleware New Zealand have run 15+ mud runs at the Tough Guy and Gal challenges. Each year 20-30 team members come together, all running for Bowel Cancer NZ, a charity very close to our hearts. Being in the IT industry, sometimes the team needs to be able to get into the great outdoors and do something for our community and thus, when the opportunity to sponsor such an awesome event came about, we jumped at the opportunity.

🏆🏆 Did you know there is a Corporate and Gym/Club Challenge? Just enter a group of at least 5 people to qualify these entry categories. The top 5 times from your group are added together to find the champions.
