A last minute call up to help Natasha and Zach for their ceremony after their celebrant couldn't attend. A couple of video calls with this relaxed couple and some great content to work with, this ceremony was one of my favourites for the summer! The venue, hosts, and vendors all came together for a perfect arvo in the sun!

Caitie and Andrew got hitched overlooking the waves of Whiritoa Beach on a perfect day. A great family to spend this occasion with!

Elopements have been really popular over the last couple of COVID affected years. Small, intimate moments with couples, that is 100% all about them and their promises to each other. It always amazes me how personal vows written seperately and secretly can end up being so similar (and often reference the same thing!) Manish & Elisa nailed their vows to each other. A wild and wet spring day pushed us inside the barn at Falls Retreat this time, but what a setting to do it!

One of my favourite things about weddings is when I get to include kids. Suzie & Robin's girls made a special day even more special.

These two were such a genuine, caring couple, it really was a pleasure to get to know them and help to make their day the way the dreamed it would be!

The funky Sea Esta Camp vibe fit Jayce and Melissa's wedding perfectly! This creative and special couple had such an inspiring love story it was magic getting to be a part of their big day. I'm sure the party went well into the night!

Sheldon and Harry asked me to help them tie the knot about 12months prior to their big day. Little did we all know what that 12months would bring. Despite all the trials and tribulations of 2020, they made it and the afternoon and evening was a smash!

After a slow couple of seasons with old mate COVID wrecking havoc on weddings everywhere, it's time to play catch up on the ol' socials!

Summer 2020/2021, saw Mitch and Shayla tie the knot in a perfect little backyard ceremony. Their parents place in the Papamoa Hills with Papamoa/Maketu Beach in the background was incredible. A special day with a very relaxed couple!

Tobi & Daniela got in touch with me on their second ever day at Waihi Beach. Having gotten engaged in Mexico a few months prior and travelled NZ for a month they decided they had found where they wanted to marry.

We met up, had a quick chat about ideas and locations to check out and the ball started rolling on this elopement!

A week later Ela's dress had arrived in Auckland from the USA, they were staying with us for a couple of nights instead of in their camper van, they shared more than one meal with my family, and by the Sunday we were hiking over the hill to Orokawa Bay for a truly intimate and special ceremony full of love, laughter and new friendships.

Got to spend a magic day last weekend at the Fountain Gardens for a ceremony that had so many special little details. I love when kids play an important part of a wedding. Can't wait to see some of the photos from this one!

I had the pleasure of meeting these two quite some time before their wedding at the very location they ended up tying the knot!

Honored that Adam and Amy would let me marry them on their big day, there was plenty of laughs to be had surrounded by sunshine and love.

They were blessed with beautiful Northland beach weather at Ruakaka and the day couldn't have been more perfect. The Friday wedding turned into a weekend long affair at the campground and will be a favourite on my celebrant highlight reel for many years yet!

Bring on more of this in 2019/2020!

These two were such a fun wedding to be part of and a special one for me as I got to MC the evening as well.

I had only met Rachel and Cam about 6 weeks before their big day but had a blast getting to know them and their family over the course of the weeks leading up to the day & evening. Turns out NZ is just as small as people think!

Sneaky little sci-fi references, men in Kilts, a beautiful venue (that brought back many scotch drinking memories) and a rowdy crowd made for a great way to wrap up my summer wedding season!

Dan & Emma got hitched in Torbay in front of the beach on a beautiful Easter weekend.

I'm not sure if Dan was more anxious about the ceremony or his speech but he smashed both!

Making their children part of the day was really important to both these two and they did a top job!

Stacey & Walter had planned to do the registry office thing but on short notice decided to step it up a notch and have a family affair in the very relaxed and enjoyable setting of the Black Cottage Cafe in Coatesville.

These two were so relaxed and easy to get along with. What a fun afternoon in front of their closest friends and family.
I'm pretty sure they won't regret the decision to change venue either!

Had the honour of helping these two pretty neat people get married this season. Lachy had supported me through upskilling at work and I got to repay the favour by helping him upskill with life!

Lachy & Amelia tied the knot in Whangamata on a weekend we won't forget. Stunning couple, stunning location!

It all made for a great afternoon in the sunshine, just the way they wanted.

By far my favourite part of every wedding is listening and watching a couple recite their vows, and these two were no different. Words from the heart are the best words.
