appreciation post for my queen, my manager Fenella Stratton on her birthday! 🎂

we started working together 5 years ago, and she has made every single one of my dreams come true. from getting my first Rhythm and Vines booking, to touring with Fatboy Slim around the country, playing my first overseas show with Your Paradise & an official Boiler Room set at Hidden Lakes Festival. i’m so proud to be working alongside such a strong, passionate, loyal, intelligent & jet fuel of a woman. you’ve taught me everything i know when it comes to the music industry & backed me in everything i do! here’s to many more years raving, misbehaving & music industry patriarchy breaking! i love you so much it makes me cry!!!! 🫶🏼

this has been the greatest week of my life!!!! 3 shows on the Fatboy Slim tour done & dusted ☑️ absolutely life changing experience for me. lil 8 year old sin would not believe it if i told her she’d be touring the country with the “man with the funny smiley faces” 😃😃 thank u so much Endeavour Live Presents & the fabulous crew that now feel like family who made this what it was. i luv this life 🤍🤍🤍🤍

a full luv affair Rhythm and Vines 🤗🪩✨🤍 i was so so proud to debut my new visuals this year, i didn’t realise what a difference these make!!!! cannot give my gratitude enough to the wizard Michael Duggan from Offline Collective who so perfectly translated everything ‘sin’ to the big screen. u made this process so enjoyable, & never once doubted the vision, only celebrated it. sometimes the relationship between the dance floor & the dj feels distant but i wanted so badly to feel connected, so it was nice being able to do this through my visuals as we danced together “u & me” 😭 thank u to Ghostline Media for making me look & feel SO cool & pretty on the day. ur work is so admirable!!! 💡 thank u to Georgia Saywell & Lewi Mcnae for capturing these precious joyful moments 📸 & to all the ravers who chose to spend this hour dancing with me (even when dave dobbo was on - like whaaaaaaat?) thank u from the bottom of my heart “love this for us”

i wanted to capture this emotion of pure elation & joy!!! after 6 days of relentless set prep - i’ve finished & am officially ready for this weekend at Spring City Music Festival!!!!!!

a million times grateful to be on this lineup, starting the dance floor at 230 and also for the opportunity to be the changeover DJ from start to finish. i have considered every element of what it means to be a good changeover DJ & selected all my best records that will make the people dance. can’t believe i’ll be shimmying & tune selecting in between some of my heroes in the electronic sphere!!!!! my heart is racing with excitement. see you on saturday.

being in conversation with one of my greatest idols, and fellow music geek Zane Lowe is a moment i’ll never forget. this man does what i do but on the greatest of levels, so going into this i could barely sleep last night as my mind raced, over complicating what today needed to be. but it happened, and so authentically. i learnt so much from him in that short time spent together about what makes a great interviewer, and he shared words with me that i will take with me for the rest of my career.

2004 this record came out... i was only 10 so never got to experience this at the rave in it's peak, but i weirdly feel so connected to it as if i was there every time i hear it! the vocal, the chords, love love love it
