How wonderful were the Aurora lights tonight. If it wasn't so cold I would have stayed out a lot longer Thanks to Sam White and Lauren Keen for sharing these amazing photos with me. They were taken in Palmerston Otago. You have to agree they really do give a romantic vibe. I hope you all got to see it.
As my husband and I celebrate our 38th wedding anniversary today it reminds me of all the lovely couples I have had the privilege of being the celebrant for their special day. I wish you all happy anniversary whether it has been years, months or weeks. I have been in Twizel this weekend being the celebrant for Micayla and Blair on Friday. I awoke on the day of the wedding to snow on the hills and a chilly day. All kinds of weather was thrown at us, but after a small delay the ceremony took place outside with Lake Benmore behind us. Congratulations to the newly married couple and I look forward to sharing some photos of the day soon.
How happy do these newly weds look? I was privileged to be the celebrant for James and Paris on Saturday. The inside setting at Glenfalloch was still stunning and intimate and the rain didn't dampen the celebration. Congratulations James and Paris on becoming husband and wife and thank you for letting me create your ceremony to share with you and your family and friends.
Yesterday morning I enjoyed my morning walk starting with a beautiful sunrise and finished it with a lovely rainbow (sorry the photo doesn't show how nice the rainbow was). In the afternoon I had the privilege of being the celebrant for James and Paris and their wedding at Glenfalloch in Dunedin. Although the weather wasn't on their side and the ceremony was held inside, it was still a beautiful wedding to be a part of. Congratulations James and Paris.

Holly and Ray Joyce asked me to be their celebrant for their garden wedding in Waikouaiti in December. Their gorgeous daughter Billie arrived in style in a white BMW, she definitely stole the show. It was a real privilege to be a part of this special day.
On a gorgeous Central Otago day last November I had the privilege of being the celebrant for Jess and Liam Jenkinson. Their special day was filled with lots of love as they shared their commitment to each other as husband and wife. Wanaka is a beautiful location for a destination wedding.
It was a beautiful day for the wedding rehearsal for Jess and Liam today. The Edgewater is a beautiful lakeside venue for their special day. After lunch we went for a walk to the summit of Mount Iron. Wanaka is definitely a beautiful destination for your special day ❤
Another beautiful sunrise in Palmerston. I love starting my day seeing them. Although, I'm not enjoying the chilly mornings that June is giving us. I guess we have to accept winter is around the corner. It's hard to believe we are half way through the year. It won't be long and I'll be enjoying spring and summer weddings with the beautiful couples who have asked me to be a part of their special day.
What a wonderful way to spend my Sunday lunch. We enjoyed fresh crayfish and blue cod with friends at The Fishwife at Moeraki. We are so lucky to have access to wonderful fresh seafood that is only a 10 minute drive from home. If you are ever thinking of having a beach wedding, Moeraki has a lot of beautiful spots.
I always find an early morning walk is a good way to start my day. It is also the perfect time to think about my upcoming weddings and the lovely couples I will have the pleasure of marrying. Happy Sunday everybody.

Sometimes during our busy lives we need to take some time out to enjoy life and our surroundings. Today I enjoyed a fabulous lunch at the Moeraki Tavern with two fabulous friends. This beautiful place is only a 10 minute drive from where I live. Now I'm back home finishing off the ceremony for a very special wedding.
One week ago this gorgeous couple said "I do". Congratulations Nick and Jazzy Drummond. I really loved being a part of your special day.
