🍺 Cheers to a successful Skedaddle 2024 and to our incredible partnership with Brew Moon! This year, we celebrated with a bespoke beer can, specially designed to feature Shaun, AKA the Bush Janitor, the heart and soul behind the Island Hills walking track.

Thanks to everyone who joined us and raised a glass in support of our conservation efforts. Each sip not only tasted great but also contributed to our long-term goal of reintroducing the kiwi to this beautiful landscape. Here’s to many more innovative collaborations and successful events!

Located in the heart of the Mackenzie, Tekapo is set to become synonymous with wellbeing with the inaugural Breathe Tekapo Wellness Festival.

The festival is the first of its kind in New Zealand and will showcase the benefits of spending time in nature and draws on inspiration from the stunning natural beauty of the region.

Breathe Tekapo will include three keynote speakers including physiotherapist and educator Nigel Beach , chef and entrepreneur Nadia Lim and Professor and clinical psychologist Julia Rucklidge . All are experts in their respective fields who will be sharing their own research and knowledge with the weekend's attendees.

We are so fortunate to work alongside incredible event owners who are so passionate about delivering events to the highest standard.

The team at host the Skedaddle trail run some of the hardest working folks we know. Over the summer they have been monitoring and improving the tracks, creating a new gantry for the race village and are always thinking of how we can improve the experience for our athletes.

We look forward to returning to Island Hills on the 27 April for round two of Skedaddle!

If you are looking for a perfect challenge to aim for after a fun festive season, the on January 28th is it!

Located at participants have the choice of a 6km, 10km, 21km half marathon course... and dress ups are always encouraged!

All proceeds go towards the great work of the New Zealand Brain Research Institute which focuses on research to understand more about neurological disorders including Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and Multiple Sclerosis.

Participants and their supporters are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy on the Pegasus Bay lawns after the event.
