Shout out to the amazing humans that we call “celebrants”! You may have heard them called officiant as well, as they are the people that make your wedding official, but we prefer celebrant because they are way more than just signing some paperwork and making it official. These amazing men and women are the people who take your story and turn it in to your ceremony, they are the ones who will walk down memory lane with you, the ones who hi-light what make your love special, the ones who help with your vows and so much more. Really their job is to make your ceremony a true celebration of you, getting to the point where you say your i do’s and getting excited about every day together after that point so we think CELEBRATant is the perfect word to describe their job. If you have been to a few weddings you will know how important choosing this person is, and we take that job seriously. You won’t be seeing any boring ceremonies here!

1 year ago today a beautiful blonde little 6 year old decided she was going to become a photographer. She quickly learned the ropes, took off with one of our cameras and captured some great candid moments at a wedding. Oh also 1 year ago today that little girls parents got married! Happiest of anniversaries to Ruby and Jordan and of course their beautiful 3 daughters ❤️

This past Sunday we celebrated these two soulmates! Just over 12 years since they became official (they dated in secret for months first) and a few hundred kms from their horse sized 4 legged child Klaus, they said some nice things about each other, promised to make it forever, put a ring on it and celebrated with 60 of their favourite people and it truly was a day to remember!

They genuinely cared about our day and our experience—it never felt like just another wedding to them. Communication was always prompt, and they were on top of every detail, so we didn’t have to worry or think about anything.

The day itself was indescribable, the most amazing feeling, and that was largely due to how smoothly everything went in the lead-up and on the day itself. Because of Kellie we were able to be fully present, soaking in every moment with each other and our young daughters. The experience was more than I can put in to words. We always love seeing 2 families and cultures come together, some of Dan's family spoke very little english, coming all the way from Spain but to watch them laugh and cry together you would never know there was a language barrier. Happy anniversary to the stunning Julianna & Jake!! When their wedding day was raining cats and dogs and thunder and lightening kept the helicopter from flying that didn't stop them from having the best day!! We grabbed the umbrellas and bubbles and off we went to party in the rain at the stunning Lake Johnson. Not only did they have the best day, we were able to give them a second best day when 2 days later we flew to their original location for celebrations, dancing and photos high in the mountains!

Another amazing Tuesday Testimonial~!

We recently planned our wedding with Shaken & Stirred Weddings from Sydney only 8 months in advance, and without meeting the team in person just before our big day in Queenstown. Despite the distance, they made the entire experience effortless. We had around 30 guests fly in from Australia, and the day turned out to be beyond anything we could have ever imagined.

Kellie and Carys were nothing short of amazing throughout the entire process. From the very beginning, they were responsive, thoughtful, and genuinely cared about making sure our day was everything we dreamed of. They provided us with multiple options to choose from, and every time we had a request or an idea, they not only listened but also came back with additional suggestions that made everything even better.

At no point during the planning did I feel stressed. Kellie and Carys had every detail covered. Even on the wedding day itself, they handled everything flawlessly, allowing us to relax and enjoy the moment fully. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and warm personalities made the entire experience unforgettable.

We wanted a simple ceremony and a big party for the reception, and the team delivered perfectly. We had SO much fun and our guests had an amazing time, and we couldn’t have asked for more!

When mum & dad get married in style!! Dennaye & Oscar's wedding was the perfect balance of family and fun, elegance and adventure, loved up energy and laid back vibes. These two met when Dennaye was a volunteer EMT working with the ambulance and Oscar was a volunteer firefighter, and they responded to the same car accident scene! It has been 1 year since the stunning Lisa & Cristoph stood on the shores of Lake Erskine vowing to be each other's travel companion for life, best friend for eternity and the person that makes them feel at home for all their days.
