Artz On Show run school holiday Workshops that educate students in all facets of the performing arts!

We offer a variety of Performing Arts classes for one week during the School Holidays where our students work towards performing in a Final Showcase. Each Workshop has a different theme which inspires our creative choices in the music and script.

2025 has been packed with singing, dancing, acting, laughter, friendships, and so many highlights. We’re so proud of every single young performer who stepped up and gave it their all!
Now we’re gearing up for an even bigger and brighter 2026! We can’t wait to see returning faces and meet brand new ones as we kick off another year 💜🧡

👑 Did you know? 👑
These holidays we’re stepping into the world of Mufasa!

🌅 The world is expanded beyond just the “known lions.” The film introduces new prides and lions.
🦁 Mufasa’s roar was made using real lion recordings captured by professional wildlife sound recordists, to make it as powerful and realistic as possible.
✨ The voice cast mixes new faces and familiar voices. For example, Mufasa is voiced by Aaron Pierre in 2024, while Timon, Pumbaa, Simba and Nala voices return from the 2019 remake... blending new and old.

Our Mufasa Workshops are full of storytelling, creativity, movement, and music, helping children step confidently into their own courage and imagination!

Dive into safety and confidence! 🌊🚩

In our Surf Life Saving class, children explore the basics of staying safe around water, learn what to look out for at the beach, and build general awareness in a fun, supportive environment.

It’s an enjoyable, hands-on class that helps kids feel confident, capable, and ready to make safe choices by the shore!

Meet Amira!

Hi, I'm Amira! I'm 19 and I've just finished my first year at the University of Waikato, where I'm completing a Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology. I've been involved in the performing arts since I was very young, and over the years I have taken lessons in dance, drama, and vocals.

Since beginning at Artz On Show I have taught drama, characterisation, vocals, hip hop, jazz, and a couple of specialist classes. I love teaching at Artz On Show because it is such a great opportunity to share my love of the Artz with the students and I enjoy seeing their growth, not just in skill but in confidence.

We’re so lucky to have Amira as part of our Hamilton team!
