Artz On Show run school holiday Workshops that educate students in all facets of the performing arts!

We offer a variety of Performing Arts classes for one week during the School Holidays where our students work towards performing in a Final Showcase. Each Workshop has a different theme which inspires our creative choices in the music and script.

We’re so thrilled to introduce the amazing team who will be guiding our students through a week of Dance, Drama, Art, and Vocals at Artz On Show.

Our tutors bring passion, creativity, and a depth of experience to the stage. Throughout the week, they’ll be helping students practice lines, polish choreography, and most importantly – have fun while building confidence! 🙌

Sketch, animate, and bring your ideas to life! ✏️🎬

In our Animation class, children explore characters, expressions, and storytelling through art. From simple sketches to playful animations, they experiment with shapes, movement, and creative techniques. It’s a fun, hands-on class where imagination is encouraged!

This holidays we’re exploring the world of Mufasa... a story full of bravery, family, and friendship!

🦁 Mufasa’s name comes from a Manazoto word meaning “king.”
🌅 The Pride Lands are built around the idea of the Circle of Life — a key theme in Mufasa’s story.
🐾 Taka (later Scar) and Mufasa’s names reflect their paths: Mufasa meaning royalty, Taka meaning “want” or “desire.”

Our Mufasa Workshops are full of creativity, music, movement, and magic – the perfect way for children to explore their own courage and imagination!

🕺 Tutor Spotlight! 🕺

Meet Leila!

"Hi, I’m Leila! I’ve been dancing for 16 years and recently joined the Artz on Show team as a Jazz Tutor. I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Communication, majoring in Creative Media with a double minor in Dance and Media Production. Aside from jazz, I’ve trained in many different styles of dance including ballet, contemporary, and hip hop. Dance is my creative outlet and has always been an important part of my life. Teaching has given me the chance to help kids grow in confidence and fall in love with dance just like I did!"

✨ Celebrating the magic of our Howick Show! ✨

From the first class to the final performance, our students brought energy, imagination, and personality to every moment on stage!

Throughout the week, students bring their characters to life, exploring emotions, expressions, voice projection, and stage presence. With the guidance of our Drama and Characterisation tutors, children grow in confidence, experiment with their performance, and support one another as a team.

We are so proud of our incredible Howick performers! 💜

✨ Spotlight on our Epsom Show! ✨

What an amazing week it was! Our show is a celebration of all the creativity, energy, and dedication the children bring each day. 🎶

One of the things that makes our shows so special is the incredible art and props our students create throughout the week. 🎨 From designing colourful art creations to crafting props that bring each scene to life. By the end of the week, all of their creativity comes together in a vibrant performance.

We couldn’t be prouder of our amazing Epsom performers! 💜

✨ Throwback to our Karaka Show! ✨

What an incredible week it was! Our show is the highlight of our Workshops for many of our children. A celebration of all the hard work, energy, and creativity our students put in throughout the week. 💃🎶

Each day, children take part in dance, drama, vocals, and art classes, learning lines, rehearsing choreography, and building confidence as performers. By the end of the week, it all comes together in our final show!

Each scene features the same characters brought to life by new performers, giving every child multiple opportunities to perform and showcase their talent on stage. It's an unforgettable experience filled with teamwork, laughter, and pride, and we couldn’t be prouder of our amazing Karaka performers! 💜
