Summer fruit bowl muffins are brightening up this rainy Saturday morning! My favourite recipe is sweet muffin master recipe, check it out. No creaming butter and sugar, just mix dry, mix wet, mix that together and bingo, it works every time.

A good day to be juicing lemons! She's wild outside today, I'm glad to be cosy inside zesting and juicing lemons for upcoming parties and weddings this spring. The smell is amazing!

Both freeze well if you have a glut. It's so nice to have homegrown produce in the freezer to whip out for lemon curd, dressings, and marinades when the mood strikes!

Whoops, I was too busy to post whilst away, but a 3am jetlag wake-up time has me scrolling through deliciousness from our Spanish trip....

A special mention goes out to melon and palma ham, what an absolute classic! My favourite lunch option, so refreshing on a hot day! Also see calamari, tuna tosta, bocorones, stunning vege, palma ham, swordfish and lemon sorbet. Scrumptious!

Garden treats, I'm feeling very grateful to have a garden and green fingered loved ones in my life! The feijoas are starting to drop, rhubarb is coming on nicely and me thinks it might be a crumble sort of night. Autumn has a way making you love it even though it means summer is definitely over huh!

Hello! We have been flat out this summer, feeding fabulous people and dodging raindrops, isn't it lovely to see sunshine in the forecast?!

Apologies to those awaiting email responses, we have been hard at work in the kitchen catering to many wonderful couples and their guests, photos coming soon! I'm knuckling down this week in the office, determined to clear the inbox so thank you for your patience!

Food spam from last weekend's back to back weddings! Congratulations to Friday's couple L & A, and Saturday's couple B & N! It was such a wonderful weekend, we had a blast!

Both weddings were at the stunning where through choices of ceremony, canape, reception and dancing locations, not to mention styling, music and menus, each wedding feels totally unique.

Bring on the holidays and sunshine now please!

Friday saw us cater a beautiful wedding amongst the glorious gardens of Omahanui and a few raindrops too! They didn't dampen the spirits or smiles however, and these spinach and feta filos with eggplant kasundi were demo'd in record time! Thank you to my wonderful staff for your hard work, excellent skills and hilarious banter! #canapes #taurangacatering #taurangaweddings

Om nom nom, hot and sticky Thai chicken bites covered in kaffir lime chilli sauce... They didn't last long! @ataahua_gardenvenue turning it on last Friday!

Last Saturday we had the absolute pleasure of catering to S & D at the stunning @blackwalnutvenue Canapes, antipasto entree platters, shared feast main course, dessert, plus a late night cheeseboard - far out it was an incredible feast! Thank you and congratulations S & D! And thank you to my wonderful team for making it all come together ❤️
