Some food for thought, especially if you are throwing a bit of DIY elbow grease into your event - Just how do you plan to present your napkins?

It may seem a trivial detail, however a touch of forward planning could save you a tonne of time on event day.

Our top tips:

1. Check over your napkins for crease lines and wrinkles, decide if you are happy with these.

2. Press any napkins well in advance of your day so they are ready for placement (as pictured, I folded into thirds and pressed for a crisp & clean look).

3. If tying, again do this in advance of your day.

4. If your napkins need to work in with any stationery, ensure you do a check for reference to ensure you are happy with how they look next to/on top of each other - This will avoid any additional ironing/steaming!

When I take people through planning consultations, I always ask about the colours they are drawn to daily, not what they think the options are for your event or wedding.

People often shy away from injecting their favourite colours into their celebrations out of fear they could go ‘too far’. For those that wish to do so modestly, we love these ideas that allow the perfect touch of colourful accents.
