- Grab a donut at the whipped baker at the historic village and wander the shops
- Enjoy a date night (or lunch) at some reasonably priced eateries like Ramen at Chidori, Turkish at Cafe Istanbul, Tacos at Ruby's Taco & Tequila or pizza at Ritas
- Or splash out on date night at Macau, Fife lane or Alpino
- Enjoy a buffet Hotel breakfast at Trinity Wharf
- Gets some fresh air at the Waimarino adventure park
