We are delighted to announce this New Years Event in the Square is most definitely on. It promises to be the best yet with an enhanced show that includes the biggest kids countdown fireworks display ever. The first half features a fantastic array of local young performers as well as cheer leading and Kapa Haka performances. This year we welcome our new Pyro act, Spark and Flame. The second half show is packed with the biggest songs from Elton John, U2, Pink, David Bowie, Talking heads and our show finale, Queen. We will also have on site the best of our food trucks, rides for the children plus glowsticks will be on sale, either cash or eftpos.

Sadly the City Council have announced the Postponement of this years New Years Eve Concert in the Square. This is in line with the majority of cities and towns throughout Aotearoa. Please refer to the Council website for the official press release. On behalf of all the Performers, artists, vendors and event suppliers, who have worked so hard to bring you our signature high quality event, we wish you and your whanau a happy new year.
