I became a registered Marriage and Civil Union Celebrant in December 2009. I really love my job and put my heart and soul into my work. Couples often aren't aware of what is possible when it comes to their ceremony, when in reality there is huge scope for ideas and personalisation. The actual legal elements are quite small. I just want to draw your attention to this gorgeous welcome sign. A simple, hollow wooden sign with fresh florals arranged inside. It was really eye-catching! And, you could probably make one yourself. 😊

Want to say your personal vows in French? Or any language for that matter? Go for it!!!
As long as you understand the content of the ceremony that is in English, and you say the legal vow lines in English so that I (and your witnesses) can understand, then legally we are all covered.
These two beauties from New Caledonia married here on Tuesday. Their personal words to each other were deliciously romantic sounding in French.
