Today’s the day to be publicly smug about being a celebrant !

Turns out, standing in the mountains with two people who are absolutely fizzing to marry each other is… not a bad way to earn a crust.

I love my job because I get a front-row seat at one of the biggest and most emotional moments in people’s lives. I get to see them at their most honest, sometimes nervous, but always excited selves.

I get to gently guide them through their ceremony bringing a bit of calm, even when a cheeky southerly tries to convince us it’s in charge.

It truly is the best job for me because I love love stories, meeting good humans, sharing some laughter, and a bit of banter… not to mention last but not least I get to work alongside other equally passionate wedding industry professionals - many of which I get to call true friends as well as them being work mates.

I’ll never take for granted being invited into such a special moment in people’s lives, right here in this beautiful place I’m lucky enough to call home.

Spring in the mountains — the snow’s melting but there’s still enough on the peaks to make it magic. ❄️☀️

These two caught that sweet spot at the turn of the season — their feet in the snow but the warmth of the sun on their face.
A quick heli-hop across Lake Wakatipu put us right in the middle of these epic alpine views.

Sally and Jack love spending their weekends sky diving or climbing, they wanted a wedding day that felt just as free and full of life as their hobbies make them feel.
No big production, just joy, sunshine, and time to soak it all in.

There’s something special about this time of year — snowy peaks, long, warm evenings, wide-open skies.

From California sunshine to Queenstown snow.

These two flew in expecting spring sunshine — but Winter had other ideas!
Instead, they got soft snowflakes, mist from the falls, and a ceremony that felt perfectly them: intentional, unhurried, no crowds, just the sound of the waterfall and a lot of happy laughter.

That’s the beauty of eloping here — the weather might keep you guessing, but the magic’s in rolling with it!
And when you’ve got a crew who love wild weather, a good adventure, and have the biggest hearts to make it all happen for you in the easiest and best way — you know you’re in very good hands.

Carly and Gavin are two lovely Queenstown locals who live for the mountains — they pack parachutes for a living and spend their free time high lining between ridge lines.

They slowed things down for their wedding day, brought all their favourite people along and had a day that felt purely them.

No fuss. No performance. Family flew in from across the globe to join them and a crew of mates to share a day that was filled with laughter and the kind of love that’s grounded, genuine, and a little bit wild.

This wedding was all about celebrating their love, their love of the people and landscape that surrounds them.

The snow has almost melted - it’s time to start thinking about your summer wedding in the Queenstown mountains?

NZ’s summer mean long days, soft late afternoon light and plenty of options for flexibility with ceremony timing.

Taylor and Jeremy went from being strangers at a music festival in LA to discovering they were soul mates from across an ocean.
They are proof that a single brave “Can I get your Instagram?” can turn into the most amazing love story!

We had the most fantastic celebration of their love on a peak close to Queenstown.
Taylor made their beautiful lei as a nod to Hawaii where she is from.
Lei symbolise love, respect, connection.
Things these two had by the bucket load. That and Pokémon cards!

A fantastic afternoon spent adventuring in the mountains getting these two married.
They brought their own little bit of Hawaii with them - some sunshine and flowers.
