Meet our Merchants: Hapunan

This Iconic 100 awardee -- wait, we mean 3x awardee -- needs no introduction. Their Adobo Del Diablo is legendary among Auckland foodies. We are talking about Hapunan, of course. The brainchild of Aldrin and Laura, who have been bringing classic Filipino dishes with a modern touch to the market over the last 7 years. They have a store in Huapai but are also often found in many events in Auckland and beyond.

We invite you to try Hapunan's dishes at World of Flavours: International Food Festival. You will not regret it!

Plus, they reward customers with a discount when they bring their own containers. Amazing!

Meet our Merchants: Szilvia's Little Kitchen

Szilvia's Little Kitchen joins us at World of Flavours: International Food Festival to bring her award-winning cheeses and 150-year-old family recipes.

Get a hold of smoked cheeses and Hungarian small goods products. Smoked Edam, Cheddar, Parmesan, Cream cheese, Brie, Camembert, Feta, and Blue Vein cheeses get a special unique taste from the smoke and are very popular among customers.
Hungarian smallgoods products are based on a 150-year-old family recipe, with generations refining the ingredients. The smoked spicy and mild sausages are similar to chorizo, but not as dry. Ready to eat, excellent for sandwiches, pizza toppings, soups and other dishes.
The specially aged salami, on the other hand, is made without paprika and it is also a great ingredient for various dishes.

All her products are made of 100% natural ingredients, handcrafted with love and based on original family recipes.

Meet our Merchants: Crisen Pinoyz Favourite

Philippine delicacies such as specialty breads (ube pan de sal, Spanish bread, ensaymada and hopia), rice cakes and dried fish will be sold during World of Flavours: International Food Festival.

Crisen Pinoyz Favourites brings us a wide selection of dried seafood that are very hard to find in New Zealand including boneless danggit (rabbitfish), boneless sapsap (slipmouth), fish tocino (cured red mullet), espada flakes (dried silver scabbardfish), fish tapa (cured file-fish) and more. Dried fish is such a popular delicacy because of its longer shelf-life. These are also perfect for Filipinos in New Zealand who are celebrating Filipino Food Month for April.

Meet Our Merchants: Eating Pinoy

Check out authentic Filipino recipes from Eating Pinoy -- from skewered pork BBQ to fluffy rice cakes. One of our favourites is the pancit -- ever-present at parties, the way Filipinos do noodles is always flavourful and chockfull of goodness. Try the bihon or the palabok version. Eat it in tandem with siomai -- the Filipino version of dumplings. Wash it all down with the beautiful drinks they offer -- buko pandan, black gulaman or mango tango. Check out the rest of their amazing Filipino snacks and desserts -- from bibinkinitan to suman sa lihiya, sapin sapin to hopia. All the delicious street food fare remind us of the Philippines and a visit to old food districts in Manila, where you'll find an endless array of delightful flavours.

We're very happy to welcome Eating Pinoy at World of Flavours: International Food Festival

Meet our Merchants: Okumnandi

Dive in the delicious flavours of South African cuisine with a modern local twist as Okumnandi joins us for World of Flavours International Food Festival. Enjoy popular dishes such as the boerewors -- the big-on-flavour coiled juicy sausage that is super easy to fall in love with. Or even more popular bunny chow (no rabbits were harmed here!) which comes in a hallowed out cob loaf filled with lamb curry. We highly encourage ripping up the bread and mopping the sauce with it. Okumnandi means "it comes delicious" in Zulu and its something you can come to expect from their dishes.

Experience a cultural journey through flavours with Okumnandi.

Meet our Merchants: Potato Corner

The "World's best flavoured French fries" is coming to World of Flavours: International Food Festival. Potato Corner isn't wrong about that -- they've been around for over 30 years now with 1,100 stores around the world including countries like Australia, Canada, Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore and much more. We're not gonna lie, we've been a fan of this brand since the early 90's when they started out as a small food stall in a mall in the Philippines.

They've grown massively since then, but their core flavours are the most amazing: Cheese, BBQ, Chili BBQ and Sour Cream. Sometimes they come up with limited-time creative flavours such as Sour Cheese, Adobo or Tom Yum (we'll be adventurous, but we're usually loyal to the classics!). Grab an order (or an entire huge bucket!) for yourself. Just a few days to go!
