Timing is everything on a wedding day so it’s important that you get your timeline right. A well thought-out timeline can be the difference between a relaxed or chaotic event. Get advice from your vendors as to how long things actually take on a wedding day instead of guessing. Get your vendors to check over your timeline before finalizing it. Timing is everything.

COMMONLY ASKED QUESTION - are dogs allows at Stonebridge?

The short answer is yes. You can absolutely bring your dog in for the ceremony and for photos straight after as long as there is someone in control of him or her at all times.

And then to ensure the safety of your dog (especially on a hot summers day), we just ask that you arrange for someone to come and collect him or her so that they are not left on their own or forgotten about when the reception starts.

SEATING CHARTS - Creating a seating chart is probably the thing couples struggle with the most when planning their wedding. And while a seating chart is not mandatory, it is something we strongly advise you think about having.

A seating chart helps the reception run smoothly. It ensures that your guests can find their seats quickly and it avoids the chaos of guests trying to find a seat with someone they know or rearranging tables and chairs to make this happen.

Seating charts can ensure that everyone is seated with at least 1-2 people they know. It can be overwhelming and uncomfortable for guests to end up at a table full of strangers.

It provides key information about guests and where they are seated to your vendors, in particular to the caterers if there are guests with special dietary requirements.

Seating charts also allow you to separate people who don’t get along to try and avoid any potential conflicts.

And last but not least, wedding guests actually like to know where they are seated. If there is no seating chart, it can create confusion and awkwardness for your guests.

So while we know that it is not an easy job and can be stressful, we believe that seating charts do have their place at a wedding and are something that you should seriously consider when planning a wedding.
