It was all about family and friends with the big wedding numbers. I not only had the pleasure to capturing Melissa and Scotts day, I also had the satisfaction of having a few belly laughs through the day. One key aspect to being a Wedding photographer is being organized and have good time management. So here's a wee story to kick off their day. I arrived about 20mins early. Sitting in my car on the side of the road, just around the corner from where Scott and the Groomsmen were having their getting ready photos. I had been there 15mins, just quietly a Police car pulls in behind me with it's lights on. Thinking it was a little odd. I poked my head out the window to look back at the cop walking towards me and he asked are you Brad Crocker? He had done a check on my license plate. Yes, I am I replied. He said there has been a complaint about a man in a black 4wd looking dodgy and scoping houses out. lol.... I laughed and explained, he rolled his eye. The Neighbours you want I guess but gave me a good chuckle to kick things off. Awesome day it was too. Here's to another fab couple!! Congratulations to you both and thank you once again!

Pheww what a work out! Talk about a day of roses, bubbles and the heat.
If anyone knows how hard I work to cover a wedding day, my couples do...and it really is a pleasure. An intense 30deg+ day, 3 weeks ago. The full bridal party getting ready at the one house (busy awesome) a first look and then Wedding at in Kaiapoi. Too many great photos to post. Such a lovely and appreciative couple. Congratulations!!

What a way to celebrate..... New years eve and a Wedding!
Probably one of the most relaxed and chilled wedding ceremony's I have done. A ring was almost lost through the cracks in the deck (keep that in mind all you love birds) and we escaped most of the crappy NYE weather.

Sometimes you just get lucky with the conditions and sometimes circumstances mean you have to brave the light drizzel like yesterday. This was fun!

An old photo of my son which included multiple photos over lapped in his super hero get ups. It took the afternoon to get the shots, costume changes etc. A bit of work. A few challenges to get the photos connecting in the final image with him interacting with himself making the final image a little bit of extra fun. The light was also changing through the lounge window as the afternoon went on, which was challenge to balancing. Shadows moving and exposure constantly changing. Definatly my most worked on photo to date. Really pleased I did this now, representing a neat time at that age. All up I reckon about 15hrs + with editing. I also had to learn how to do a real light saber, very important!
